I think it’s a good use of a series’ original antagonist. They often have great chemistry with the cast and gain depth from renewed purpose (or uselessness) whilst not undermining newer threats. I still don’t care for Roa, but it’s fun watching everyone laugh at him for being a loser, and a better example is Nero who gets to be weirdo stoic guy wandering around with a cool design
