#NippySweep One of my favourite episodes of the show. Also, I love it at a meta level: up until Season 6, every season has had 10 episodes. At the end of this episode Jimmy says, "After all that... A happy ending." He even puts down the flashy, Slippin' Jimmy/Saul Goodman style shirt. This very well could have been an ending for Gene: he handled this situation, and can continue on living in Omaha. He even found some joy in his job! But then we come back for Episode 11. We are literally going beyond the regular amount of episodes for a season. The intro is completely ruined. And after a contentious phone call... Jimmy takes it further, squandering his happy ending away. Just my way of looking at things :)
Never thought about it like that, incredible meta thinking! But instead of Jimmy squandering his happy ending, I think he was never really happy in Omaha even after the events of Nippy. This then lead him to finding Kim, his only real source of happiness, and breaking the 10 episode rule like you said. Jimmy was never really a stranger to breaking rules anyway 😂

LOOOOOOOVE THIS. So on point and one of the reasons why this episode is crucial! Thanks for sharing.
The black and white cinematography was so good throughout the series. This episode was so eerie coming off of the Jimmy/Kim breakup. It made the Gene timeline even more depressing now that we know what happened prior.

This episode is so good , one of my favourite scams, amd it was intense , the camera work was just something else
Incredible work on all of these videos, for the longest time I straight up thought they were just fully official. You deserve a lot of recognition.

This is going to be good
Man, Jerry Gergich really fell off after resigning from the mayor's office in Pawnee...
are you turning the movies flicker logo black and white for gene scenes? Clever if so
Easily one of the best episodes of the show
Why isn't there much of the main cast on these season 6 commentaries?
Might just be busy
@@oggabob That's a bummer I thought we'd see more of them being it's the final season not less.
It's because of scheduling and... Covid... Especially Covid. It was still a thing.
@@TheEarmantraut Bob had a heart attack so likely couldn't stay longer than he needed to
The Insider podcasts have a good deal of the main cast in the season 6 breakdowns!
