From my last awful experience with Coach, I learned to never be so desperate for a bag that you’ll accept it in damaged condition. Just return it, get your money back and move on to another bag lol. If Coach doesn’t care enough to inspect and protect their bags, then I shouldn’t feel bad about getting my money back from them if I’m not satisfied. PERIOD 😮💨😊
Absolutely! Your experience speaks volumes! I was iffy about even putting this video out, because I have so much love for Coach, but this was just unacceptable and it’s important to hold brands accountable for their quality and packaging. Thanks for sharing your insight! ❤️
@@foreverebony Absolutely! We can love a brand and still hold them accountable because that’s the only way they’ll step it up. Paying hundreds/ thousands of dollars for a bag, customers should have a good experience all the time not just sometimes. Loved the video, keep em coming! ❤️
Yes I agree, personally I get so much anxiety from it tho, like what if the package gets lost and I can’t get my money back, for this reason I’ve only returned an item once
@@yeseniam3409 If you don’t like or want the item, it’s your right to return it. If the package gets lost on the way back, that’s not your fault at all. It’s the carrier’s. As long as you have proof of return, you’re good.
I had such a bad experience with the coach boutique about 4 months ago that I stopped buying form the website altogether. I was tempted during the 25% off sale a couple weeks ago but decided again it. I agree the department stores are safer unfortunately the department stores don’t have all the different style that the boutique have. With my last coach store online purchase the tracking indicated it was coming from a boutique and when it arrived instead of my coach bag or any coach item it was 2 non coach dresses. I ultimately had to involve my cc company to get my money back and coach refused the return.
Thank you for sharing Ebony. The bag is so beautiful and modern I love the look. That is extremely disappointing how the bags were shipped and the damage. I also cringe whenever I get notification something is shipped from a store because the condition is so unpredictable.
I really don’t know what it is about stores and why they tend to ship items out so poorly. I never have an issue when I get a shipment from the warehouse.
That is so disappointing. The first time I saw the monochromatic designs from Coach, I was not convinced right away. I love Coach and i have 4 bandits, but this new design didn't give me a wow factor! Thanks for sharing this video, very helpful for people who are looking at purchasing the bag. 😊❤
I really liked the monochromatic vibe, but the chipping hardware was just a deal breaker for me. Maybe I'll consider getting another different Bandit soon. Tfw sis ❤️
Totally agree! The lack of proper packaging the first time was a letdown, but to experience it twice was just unacceptable. I hope Coach gets it together. Tfw 💛
I'm bummed that they cannot figure out how to make durable hardware. I have the same thought about pewter hardware -I will not buy any bag with it again! I also bought a Bandit bag in dark stone, but I'm on the fence on whether to exchange or return because 1) although factory wrapped it came with scratches I cannot buff out, which means the leather is very sensitive and 2) the front flap seems crooked. What do you think?
I had high hopes that the PVD coating would solve the chipping problem, but it seems there's still room for improvement. As for your Bandit, handling the glovetanned leather delicately is key. If the scratches are a concern, I’d consider exchanging it, but there's a chance it could get scratched again with regular use. If that's a deal-breaker, returning it might be the best option. Regarding the crooked flap, it's a common issue I've noticed with Bandits.
I’m not sure why Coach would even release a bag with this type of coating that has to come with a warning label. Hopefully, they'll improve it in the future. Tfw ❤️
So sorry about the bag! I know you were looking forward to adding this to your collection! I believe the lack of wrapping is what keeps damaging the bag! This is something that’s controllable within COACH! I’m not a fan of painted hardware also I’ll be steering clear away from this line. Hopefully you’ll find another bag that offers the pop of color you’re looking for. TFS 😊💛
I really believe the poor packaging damaged them too, and it could’ve easily been avoided with just a little more care. It's so disappointing receiving damaged bags immediately after taking them out the box, but I’m already on the hunt for another bag with a pop of color! 😉💛
Oh my, I love the color. I agree the bag should've been factory wrapped. 2 damaged bags is unacceptable. They need to step up on packaging Thanks for sharing.
I hate that you had to do through this experience. I had a horrible experience with the denim tabby. Arrived factory wrapped from the warehouse. It arrived with a popped stitch. I contacted the SA who placed the order for me. I returned it the day after I received the label and it arrived at the store 48 hours after. He placed the order and it was never fulfilled because they sold out. I was so upset and wasn't able to find another for a few weeks. I'm so glad I went with my gut and purchased the Tabby 26 in Canary because the color is beautiful. I was going to hold out for the Bandit because I do love that I can wear it crossbody.
Oh wow, so sorry to hear about your disappointing experience as well. It's so frustrating when a bag arrives with issues, especially after eagerly waiting for it. I'm glad you were able to find the Tabby 26 in Canary, though-the color is absolutely beautiful!
That’s so disappointing that both bags came with scratches 😢 this was my first concern when I saw this drop. And I really love the way the monochromatic look so it’s too bag that they chip so easily. Tfs
I really love the look too, the design is so edgy. I had hoped the PVD coating would provide more durability, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem like it will.
Thaaannnnk you sooo much sis for sharing I will not be purchasing the monochromatic purses. I love the canary color however I’ll have to purchase it in another style or brand bc I do need a yellow bag.
It's such a shame the monochromatic bags didn't live up to expectations, especially considering how beautiful they are. I’m now on the hunt for a yellow bag too, hopefully we both find the perfect one! 💛
This really is a beautiful bag, the color is Everything 💛 I agree that a brand new bag should be in excellent condition without damage. Too bad the hardware is damaged on both bags. Thanks for sharing your experience Dear🌼
Indeed, the color is stunning! It's disappointing when brand new bags arrive damaged. Hopefully, Coach takes note and improves their packaging. Thanks for watching!❤️
In my opinion those pieces should have been wrapped with a styrofoam wrap at the factory. But the issue to me is that once you start carrying it the damage will happen pretty easily. It’s so disappointing cuz it’s such a beautiful bag!!!! And that color is amazing!!! I know they are different bags but you should take a look at the Tabby if you haven’t already. 🌼
I completely agree! Proper packaging from the factory could have prevented these issues. I was so ready to rock it-y’all wasn’t gonna be able to tell me nothing! (In my Mckeeva voice 🤭) Thanks for your comment to push me to make this video. I was hesitant at first, but I hope it sheds some light on the reality of what can happen. I'll definitely check out the Tabby! 💛
@@foreverebony I learn as much from fail videos as success videos. Sometimes we buy something and it doesn’t work. We have to see that and how to handle it. Your video was very informative and helpful. Cuz someone was considering that bag with concerns about the PVC but reassured the process was so good. You showed it has potential problems. I hope someone at Coach sees it and addresses the issue.
I sent back the yellow and pink monochrome Bandits - I didn't have defects, but I didn't like the warning label - I intuitively felt not to keep them, so thanks for making this video :) It was hard, but I'm glad I sent them back.
I wish that new items were left in their factory wrap. I ordered a Juno and Bandit wallet in Canary which were shipped from a boutique and not wrapped. Both items had impressions in the leather due to the way they were packed. Boutiques either need to keep them in the packaging, or bubble wrap these items to eliminate damages.
I'm really sorry to hear your Juno and bandit card case arrived damaged. It's really frustrating, and it shouldn't happen. Boutiques need to start better protecting our items during shipping to prevent these kinds of preventable issues.
I agree 100%!! If I purchase a bag brand new, it should look brand new when I receive it. Coach should really consider the materials when making a bag considering this bag at full retail is $550. I feel the same about Tory Burch. Sometimes quality and durability falls second to style and trendiness. This is why I, too, have been making a point to get to the stores to see these bags in person. Especially, if I’m spending over $250. TFS❤❤ and I do hope you can find something similar that will bring you just as much joy!
Exactly! Some people may think it’s nitpicking, but if I invest in a brand new bag, I expect it to arrive in pristine condition. It's so disappointing when that's not the case. Thanks for watching, and I'm hopeful I'll find something that brings me the same joy too! ❤️
They should be shipping it still in plastic wrapping. I’m not sure why they even send unwrapped/ display items, the bag is their newest collection. I love the vivid color though, was not planning on getting anything from this collection but I’m not even going to in the future. Personally I prefer their pebbled leather & silver/gold hardware
I totally agree, the lack of protective wrapping just doesn’t make sense. I definitely understand your preference for silver/gold hardware. From now on, I’m sticking to that too!
Oh my gosh. That is so disappointing. I think despite what they told you, it is very easy to damage that hardware. The color is so beautiful. What a disappointment. Thanks for sharing! Peace and love..Suz What ☮️💛
