I just received this bag yesterday. I love the Navy color. I got the cutest cherry charm from Amazon to place on it. It took me forever to get and after waiting so long I was eager to play with it, but it was wrapped everywhere! At least we know our bags are brand new 😂.

Regarding the leather in comparison to older bags, the leather of early 1941 bags such as the 1st generation Rogue and the Bandit hobo is extremely impressive-very high quality with real suede interiors. The leather of some (not all) of the newer bags such as the Idol and the cargo Tabby is also great! I was particularly impressed with the feel and craftsmanship of the cargo Tabby. Once I learned that the Empire 40 was made of the same full grain leather as the cargo Tabby, I knew I had to have it. The interior lining might not feel as luxurious as the cargo Tabby or the 1941 bags, but perhaps that would make the bag heavier. Overall, I’m glad that I was able to find one. I’m very happy with it-no regrets, particularly when considering what other brands are offering these days. Thanks for sharing your bag! I greatly enjoyed your video!! Have a great weekend!!🥰🥰🥰

The Empire bag and TS Tabby are complete opposite bags therefore would serve differently in your wardrobe! With that said the Navy empire hits and will serve you well too! I saw your short this afternoon informing everyone that the all the colors for the empire are back in stock. Thanks again. I finally made a decision between the merlot and navy and when I went to the website to make my purchase the merlot was sold out.😁 I had to laugh because had I been still on the fence about my color choice that would have determined my purchase. I made up my mind that the navy was going to be the choice. Anyway, my order is in. I am hoping it does not take long like others have mentioned. I have shoprunner and a purchase I made on this past Saturday for the rogue top handle in Colorblock has not arrived yet. It is scheduled to arrive tomorrow.😑 I do have a question. I have not seen this bag in person, and I truly appreciate all the content creators that take the time to unbox and review their purchases. Thank you because it helps. I do not live close to a coach store. My question is about the heat stamp coach new york in gold foil. What is your opinion on that? I have quite a few coach handbags and I looked to see if I have any handbags with that type of stamp on the leather. It is not a deal breaker but I am curious.

It sounds like merlot selling out made your choice a little easier-but honestly, navy is stunning, so I think you made the right call! 😉 As for the gold foil stamp, I actually don’t mind it. I think I would’ve preferred raised gold hardware, but the foil is subtle enough that it doesn’t distract from the overall look. It gives a little bit of shine without being too loud. Let me know what you think when yours arrives-I’d love to hear your thoughts!
I am not a navy person, but this bag would definitely make me look twice. I’d recommend getting twilly or scarves and a smaller chain for the d-rings. The charms you added seem to be really heavy and causing it to cave. It may crease badly real quick. Can’t wait to see your review of it.
The blue purple colour you have is the best. We did not get it in the UK and the black and merlot colour sold out even before I knew this bag existed 🤣. Coming to the states in November so I am hoping to get hold of one when I get there
The blue is definitely a standout imo! You honestly can’t go wrong with any of the colors. The Merlot is gorgeous, but the Maple has a unique charm too. Either way, you’ll have a beautiful bag sis! ☺️
I haven’t noticed any scratches from the charms so far, but I’ll definitely keep an eye on it. The leather feels pretty durable, but I’ll update if I notice any wear.

Try putting your chain front to back, hook a clasp on top handle and the other clasp on top handle behind it. It will drape on that end Of the bag not the front. Hope I’m explaining so you understand what I mean, lol
This is a beautiful handbag. While I love bag charms, I would never put charms or chains on a full grain leather handbag. This is top self leather and charms distract from the beauty of the bag, leather quality, and the quiet-luxury vibe of the bag. Just my two cents.
I appreciate your thoughts, but a plain bag-no matter how top-shelf-just doesn’t fit my style. I’m not into “quiet luxury,” as I find it can come off as conformist and also carries subtle undertones of other things. The charm cluster I’ve added is actually the same one Stuart Vevers sent down the Coach Fall 2024 runway on the 48 size. Honestly, I wouldn’t even want the bag without these accessories; they’re what make it uniquely mine ☺️

Hey Ebony, the bag in navy is absolutely beautiful! 🤩 So glad you were able to secure it! I do think it’s ok to have multiple bags in the same color if the styles are different. The Empire bag and TS Tabby are complete opposite bags therefore would serve differently in your wardrobe! With that said the Navy empire hits and will serve you well too! I saw your short this afternoon informing everyone that the all the colors for the empire are back in stock. Thanks again. I finally made a decision between the merlot and navy and when I went to the website to make my purchase the merlot was sold out.😁 I had to laugh because had I been still on the fence about my color choice that would have determined my purchase. I made up my mind that the navy was going to be the choice. Anyway, my order is in. I am hoping it does not take long like others have mentioned. I have shoprunner and a purchase I made on this past Saturday for the rogue top handle in Colorblock has not arrived yet. It is scheduled to arrive tomorrow.😑 I do have a question. I have not seen this bag in person, and I truly appreciate all the content creators that take the time to unbox and review their purchases. Thank you because it helps. I do not live close to a coach store. My question is about the heat stamp coach new york in gold foil. What is your opinion on that? I have quite a few coach handbags and I looked to see if I have any handbags with that type of stamp on the leather. It is not a deal breaker but I am curious.

It sounds like merlot selling out made your choice a little easier-but honestly, navy is stunning, so I think you made the right call! 😉 As for the gold foil stamp, I actually don’t mind it. I think I would’ve preferred raised gold hardware, but the foil is subtle enough that it doesn’t distract from the overall look. It gives a little bit of shine without being too loud. I am not a navy person, but this bag would definitely make me look twice. I’d recommend getting twilly or scarves and a smaller chain for the d-rings. The charms you added seem to be really heavy and causing it to cave. It may crease badly real quick. Can’t wait to see your review of it.

The blue purple colour you have is the best. We did not get it in the UK and the black and merlot colour sold out even before I knew this bag existed 🤣. Coming to the states in November so I am hoping to get hold of one when I get there

I haven’t noticed any scratches from the charms so far, but I’ll definitely keep an eye on it. The leather feels pretty durable, but I’ll update if I notice any wear.

Try putting your chain front to back, hook a clasp on top handle and the other clasp on top handle behind it. It will drape on that end

This is a beautiful handbag. While I love bag charms, I would never put charms or chains on a full grain leather handbag. This is top self leather and charms distract from the beauty of the bag, leather quality, and the quiet-luxury vibe of the bag. Just my two cents.
I appreciate your thoughts, but a plain bag-no matter how top-shelf-just doesn’t fit my style. I’m not into “quiet luxury,” as I find it can come off as conformist and also carries subtle undertones of other things.
The charm cluster I’ve added is actually the same one Stuart Vevers sent down the Coach Fall 2024 runway on the 48 size. Honestly, I wouldn’t even want the bag without these accessories; they’re what make it uniquely mine ☺️
