Making simple bed // Woodworking // DIY

Hi friends! I am glad to share with you the process of making a simple wooden bed from poplar wood. This bed is a single size and I also coated it with tung based oil (clear seall). This bed was made as a gift, so I used some poplar wood I had that I cut down about 4 years ago. It's not a perfect tree, but I tried to show its texture in all its glory!

I love the simplicity of the bed, but to be on the safe side maybe you should support the slats in the middle.

Won't it be too weak at the mid region without a spine?

I thought about it but decided to check with the mattress, it's fine so i didn't add the reinforcement in the middle
