Incredible Video, Love Gla1ve. Its so hard to pinpoint Astralis issues but it just feels like there is not enough support play when people make plays. But this is surely down to communication and understanding/synergy issues between players? It feels like Xyp is often scape goated as not producing enough but he is often left in really tough positions without support. BlameF gets insane numbers but you don't see him giving much support to teammates in doing that, especially on T sides despite often being a hard lurk or last in an exec. I always think that if there were an Impact per kill metric, Blame would be amongst the lowest in the pro scene on T sides. Though his CT play is all around exceptional. Konfig isn't known for his teamplay or game sense. He's an aggressive skillful aim god, but if he gets shut down there doesn't often seem a plan B and he isnt so good at enabling others through e.g. utility use. His way of enabling is by taking space physically. Farlig looks 100% confidence based... if he has hit some shots in the round or game he is confidently aggressive, if he is struggling in the game, maybe too passive. Hard to understand and read what he will do. All or nothing it feels. Either it works and he top frags or he gets punished for his overpeeks, especially in number up situations, he seems to always overaggress without support. He doesn't seem like a stable, teamplay based Awper. But we were spoilt to watch dev1ce for so long. Even Gla1ve had had issues with his fragging at times in this last period. Hard to know what will fix everything because even e.g. brining back Dev1ce as a start, you may find it isnt a single play spot problem and it is more of a team balance and synergy problem.

Imma be honest, been watching astralis over last few months and i can say the criticism isn’t warranted, they been playing great, only thing dragging them down is losing dumbass rounds against light buys and silly clutches. Very unfortunate, the losses against heroic and col in pro league were way too unlucky. Hope they get past this hump
