I haven't seen a convincing case study yet so I asked ChatGPT for some insights :) : AI, including Generative AI, has the potential to significantly impact eDetailing for pharmaceutical and consumer companies in several ways:
      1 Personalized Content Generation:
Generative AI can create personalized content for healthcare professionals (HCPs) or consumers based on their preferences and needs. This could include tailoring product information, dosage recommendations, and treatment plans to individual patients or healthcare providers.
      2 Data Analysis and Insights:
AI can analyze vast amounts of data from various sources, including clinical trials, patient records, and medical literature, to provide insights into product effectiveness, market trends, and customer behaviors. This data-driven approach can help companies refine their eDetailing strategies.
      3 Chatbots and Virtual Assistants:
AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants can provide immediate responses to HCPs' or consumers' queries, offering accurate information about products, treatments, and side effects. These virtual agents can also schedule appointments and follow up with healthcare professionals or patients.
      4 Content Recommendation:
AI can analyze the user's behavior and preferences to recommend relevant content, such as articles, videos, or product information, during eDetailing sessions. This ensures that the information presented is more engaging and tailored to the individual's interests.
      5 Enhanced Visualizations:
Generative AI can create interactive and visually appealing content, such as 3D animations and simulations, to better explain complex medical concepts or product mechanisms of action. This can improve engagement and comprehension during eDetailing presentations.
      6 Predictive Analytics:
AI can predict which healthcare professionals are more likely to prescribe certain medications based on historical data and prescribing patterns. This can help pharma companies target their eDetailing efforts more effectively.
      7 Compliance Monitoring:
AI can help ensure that eDetailing materials comply with regulatory guidelines and industry standards. It can automatically flag content that may have compliance issues, reducing the risk of regulatory violations.
      8 Content Localization:
Generative AI can assist in translating and adapting eDetailing content for different languages and regions, allowing pharma companies to reach a global audience more effectively.
      9 Continuous Learning:
AI systems can learn from user interactions and feedback to improve the quality of eDetailing presentations over time. This iterative process can lead to more effective communication and better customer engagement.
      10 Remote Engagement:
AI can enable remote eDetailing sessions, allowing pharmaceutical representatives to engage with HCPs or consumers virtually, especially in situations where physical meetings are limited, such as during a pandemic.
While AI and Generative AI offer numerous benefits for eDetailing in the pharmaceutical and consumer sectors, companies must also address privacy and data security concerns, as well as ensure transparency and ethical use of AI in their interactions with healthcare professionals and consumers.

I notice Medical Futurists only mentioned about Remote Consultant and AI transform hospital setting, not on medical research and cure for major diseases. General public generally not interested in topics like AI consultant or changing hospital setting or AI therapy support cos we are not medical staff.
