I don't do a lot of youtube comments, but I had to sign in and say this fella is right on target. I've got the same guitar and I just use a pedal to give the "electric" setting more distortion when playing through a PA. I'm a singer and strummer/riff guy and when I play out, this is my swiss army knife.
@@vincemincevince Anywhere you find one you like or a good deal is good, but I’d recommend looking on Reverb. I found a mint one on there for about half off and grabbed it up!
@@angelapardalliterally recorded straight into Garageband without messing with eq, effects, or anything. I just added a bit of reverb at the end, which is very nice. It’s just a great sounding guitar!
@@DLM451 I’d recommend using acoustic strings rather than electric, as I think they lend well to the overall purpose of the guitar. The acoustic stuff sounds great and the pickup is designed to work well with acoustic strings, the other way probably won’t be as well-rounded. I recommend using max 11s, as it will still let you do the electric guitar ending stuff. 10s would even work 👍🏻
I have this exact same model and color and can't seem to put it down. Like Chris suggested, I pick it up unplugged frequently and just love noodling around. Plugged in it sounds amazing and as the reviewer suggested it doesn't matter what you plug it into. As for the type of strings, I just recently changed mine to D'Addario flat tops phosphor bronze 10 to 47. Amazing difference, virtually eliminates string squeak and the lighter gauge works well with electric modes without loss of warmth in the acoustic modes. A bit easier on the fingers as well.
