At first, my expectations for both cubes are: the peak s3r’s customization feature is dumb and time consuming, and i have faith for the evo. But i was unsure to buy the mgc evo so i bought something else, but this video came out and now i kinda regret I didn’t buy the mgc evo. This is a very nice video, SCS x J Perm style. the evo core breaks easily to my knowledge mine broke and had to get it replaced overall though its pretty good and you can get moments of smooth and high tps (sometimes og wrm levels of fluidity) for reference I average like 8.9
@@khoinguyen-cc3mo one of the six sides of the core literally snapped (the long plastic thing just snapped off) I'm guessing its because of the brittle transparent plastic
I would love to see you do a challenge, where you attempt to solve a 7 by 7 with only double moves (The scramble would also be with only double moves). Great Video!!! Keep up the good work, I love watching the reviews because now I know what I want for my birthday.
I do actually use MGC Evo as my main cube for about a month I thought, and I've got my first sub-10 solve with it, although that was just lucky scramble, but my average actually improve, and by the time the scratchy noise now more quiet than before, and they actually be quite more reliable
@@zcubing5792 well, I just realized that I've been using this cube for about 2 month now, and now I have 4 sub-10 solve using this cube, and I finally sub 15 now (yeaay). and now the cube itself turn better that before, it almost not have that scratchy sound anymore, and it got better in the flexibility, and of course, faster.
@@ylikk3659 well it is quite hard to tell how I set it up because I live in indonesia and there is no cubicle or scs in here 😂😂, I just use Gan Silicone lube + balam (indonesian cube store) silk lube, and a little of qiyi M1 Lube, I set the nuts in setting 5, the magnet at the strongest, and it is still my main cube, and now I am a really happy sub 15 solver lol
Hey J Perm! I have a suggestion for the "solving without any help" series. It might be fun to try solving the Ghost Extreme! Idk how easy it would be for you, but it might be fun nonetheless.
Great reviews. Changing the color of the innards seems way more harder than its worth. Just buy two cubes if it means that much to you, like JPerm said.
Uhh.. the cube is overpriced and should be listed at 30$. I don’t really like the fact of removal pieces and the fragility of the cube. The customizations make a big of a difference but it takes so much time to change and replace. For about the same price, you can get the JPERM rs3m which is, in my opinion, way better.
