Thank you so much!

I’m gonna make sure ti check out the calendar tonight! Thanks, Chris! You are absolutely right, there’s always something to do, either an improvement or a fix :) I do have a soft top for it already though I don’t use it often. 18 years just wow! See ya!
Wow, looks spectacular!
Money, time and passion can propel anything... and strictly in that order!
🍻
Thank you!
Looks nice. Hope to see it at a local car show if you decide to take it. I live pretty close.
oh, absolutely. Just yesterday I was at the Main Line Cars and Coffee final meet for the season, and I'm already looking forward to all kinds of events next year!
beautiful car, would have never thought of that color combination
🇺🇦 Ukrainian flag👍
Gorgeous colour, a classic beauty without stripes and the black accents!
thank you!
Great Job and I love the color.
Black wheels and billboards look outstanding.
please tell about the Micky Thomsons with Eagle Billboard stickers? How is this done?
Wow, great job, congratulations!
Thank you very much!
Голубой металлик или перламутр оказался невероятно красивым. Он отлично смотрится хоть на фоне летней зелени, хоть зимой на снегу. У меня ярко голубой Кашкай, но твоя кобра смотрится очень элегантно. Правильный выбор 👍
ahhh ok.. Well said....
Great job with the car and enjoying the vids!
Nice job Brother!!!
really nice job and great colors! This is the second video of yours that I am watching and just discovered you have a list of videos - so I will be watching those soon too!
Looking forward to hearing more about the soft top and any leak issues you might have as well as how you cope with it
Thank you!
Nice wheels , look like magnesium rims . 👍💪🏻🏁🇺🇸🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great color choice!!
Thank you!
Beautiful car and colour love the channel
thank you!
this is awesome man. great job, I want to do this with my son too. He's 5 so I have some time still haha.
Beautiful
Thank you!
Hi Glen!
I have been watching your videos and I had NO IDEA that this was the same car I gawked at on the Cobra Forum!!! Over the last 15 years I have seen literally thousands of pictures of Cobras and I really mean it when I say yours is in my top 5 favourites. My next one will be a lot like yours! Sincerely Yours, NiceGuyEddie FFR #4453
Hey hey! I posted additional photos in the thread as you requested :)
I love the color, it’s beautiful. What about your seats …. I see head rests, I like that. Was this a Factory 5 option? I’m about ready move fwd. with a build.
thank you! The headrests were the project we did ourselves, modifying FFR seats.
Beautiful car! What seats did you get and how tall are you? I'm looking for something taller than the stock seats but not crazy tall like some of thw high back racing seats. Thanks!
Thank you! I am 6ft, and we went with the original FFR seats. We have added headrests from 2000 Audi A4 for safety, but other than that - it's the FFR seats. I wanted a more old school look, so did not want to have high back racing seats
The color look like the Le Mans blue .
Beautiful car .how much did you paid for the paint job ? I got a 73 C3 to paint . Thanks
the total cost of body prep and paint was about $5.5k
😍 👍
How did you convince yourself you really wanted to do the build, because I really want to do this however I am 17 years old I want to do the type 65 coupe build with father, we have little to no experience in this kind of thing so I am busy trying to figure out how to convince hime that we should do this
We didn’t have much experience either. Some basic understanding of how cars work, some YT videos for education expansion, FFR forum for advice - btw, reading other people’s building threads is enlightening. This is definitely not a rocket science - the process itself, it’s a lot of learning and having fun in the process, very satisfying. For dads - this is such a great bonding experience with their kids, it’s hard to compare it to anything else. Learning together, overcoming issues together, celebrating achievements together - so concentrated in this process, it’s just amazing
How much did it cost you to have the car painted along with cleaning up the mold seams?
About 5.5k
супер! :)
Are you ever going to do a video on the soft top?
working on that, stay tuned!
Hey, what are the specs on those headrests? I'm putting a MK4 together right now and would like to add something like that to my seats. Thank you.
These are headrests from 2000 Audi A4, I believe. the mounting points are riveted to the seat's frame
Do you think you could make a POV driving video? Like strap a gopro on your head and just drive it around for a while and make a video on that so we can see what it’s like driving it?
check out the channel, there's a video exactly like that
@@alexmak1 found the video. Thank you :). Beautiful car
Love the color choices Ukraine 🇺🇦🇺🇦 🇺🇦
oh yes
Am I the only one that noticed the huge spark when he cold started it in the garage? You can see it through the wheel below the brake caliper.
Now I can’t unsee it and will have to check out what that might have been. There’s supposedly nothing there to produce sparks
@@alexmak1 My thought was a loose power wire to the starter.
@@Lfrohawker one would think so, but all power cables are on the other side: the battery is in the front, on the right side, and starter is there as well. I'll monitor now to see if something like that happens again. thank you for bringing this to my attention!
Looks like the earth strap from the motor to the chassis needs looking at.
@@aplittlely thank you, I'll double-check it (it's on the other side)
What engine how much hp
