I’m a huge Ardna fan and have never been so impressed by a new distillery from day one, so the positive comparisons I’ve been hearing to Raasay had me very eager. Much to my total amazement, I was able to source a bottle of R01.1 after moving from NYC to Scotch-unfriendly Brazil! I just cracked the bottle and tasted along with your review and think the old Victorian leather and book cigar room with cassis and granite is absolutely spot on, and once again make me wish I lived nearby.

Really nice I'm not really big into whisky but this one turned it around for me anyone been to the island is it good
Well worht a trip if you can get there - you can drive across from Skye so if you get the chance check out Talisker and Torabhaig too!

Interesting review! That's R01, or batch 1, do you think R02 is different in some ways?

I think the leather changes as you get down the bottle. It is there but not so predominant. The leather is newer(?)
