The Chinese propaganda tying to portray Tibetan culture and way of life is alive and kicking vigorously. That's why are allowed to be seen people outside Tibet. If the condition in Tibet so free and open why doesn't the Chinese government tourists from outside world to visit without hindrance? People over the world want to come to Tibet just like thousands the Chinese tourists pour in Tibet.
