Art and Culture: Kalimpong Gangjong Doeghar (Performing arts Troupe)

Kalimpong Gangjong Doeghar is an independent Tibetan performing arts troupe that seeks to preserve and promote Tibetan culture through performing arts. Founded in 1995, the troupe is presently run by 3 brothers who provide trainings in Tibetan dance, music and songs to not just Tibetans but local Sherpas and Bhutias. We sat down with the brothers to learn their passion, commitment, and desire to preserve and promote Tibetan heritage and art.
