I wish mine would get here .....i ordered one with the link from your video and they say they have sent it but the tracking number they have me say its still sitting there ready for pick up.....im glad you had better luck than i did
That’s a trigger guard lanyard! If you take the light off the lanyard will fit over the trigger. It’s great for pocket, bag, belly band, vehicle, and other carry styles.
@@teamsankey560 happy to help! Thank you for posting this video. I have the same pistol and like to equip all my pistols with a light and holster and now I know where to get both, so thank you.
You're front optics are not fully seated and are crooked pull the little fiber stick out and use a small rubber mallet to fully seat the sights into place then use lock tight on the screws when tightening the screw hold the sight in place so it doesn't move
You specifically mention the fiber optic front sight, but with the mounting plate red dot set up you probably can’t even see them.🤔 maybe you could run the lake line llc high fiber optic front sight if you wanna go that route
Is the retention of the gun itself or is the retention on the flashlight attached to the gun ? Have you placed the gun into the holster to see if it has retention without the light ?
The holster is made for the Olight but it’s also cut perfectly so that you are able to have sight on your weapon while it’s being holstered. I didn’t get the slide fixed for the mounting plate. It’s able to fit right out of the box after you take off the OEM rear sights. I suggest getting some locktite for the screws though.
If you go to Faltac unlimited llc they can make you anything you want. He made my level 3 G code drop leg holster for my G3 and you can watch him make it on UA-cam
Zero actual shootabilty improvements to either firearm. You need to replace both triggers and recoil assemblies if you want your Tauruses to actually function reliably.
I bought the Lakeline full metal kit myself and improved how smooth it runs. I can deal with a polymer slide but I draw the line at polymer/plastic/vinyl (what ever name you want to give it) internal function parts.
@TADDs101 exactly! I've seen torture test videos of the g2c and it run like a freaking champ! Love mine and I've never had any issues at almost 2000 rounds!
A lot of holsters that I found usually say G2C, G2, G3, and G3C. May have to contact them directly to find out. If that doesn’t work then there are more expensive options that fit the G3 like werkz.com/index.php/werkz-m6-iwb-aiwb-holster-for-taurus-g2c-g3c-g3-with-olight-baldr-mini.html
You loop it around your front pants button. Drop your gun down and when you pull it out it retains the holster.

Great video!!
Thanks Stephen Gatewood

That extra is for the the trigger to keep it guarded
That extra part is a trigger guard for keeping on your firearm while loaded
Thank you man! Had no clue, that part has been just sitting in my drawer collecting dust lol.

Is the holster still available? I go into the page and can’t find it. If you can send the link I’ll really appreciate it

Can you please give me the model number of the skydas holster g2 1111
Is the retention of the gun itself or is the retention on the flashlight attached to the gun ?
Have you placed the gun into the holster to see if it has retention without the light ?
Does this also work for the G3C with a baldr mini 2 ??
Unfortunately I do not know the answer because I don’t know the size difference between the G2/G2C and the G3C.
It should work fine, G2C and the G3C are pretty much the exact same dimensions as I understand it.
So it can or can't fit with a sight? And also for the g2c mounting plate did u need to get the slide fixed?

Thanks for educating me. Did some research afterwards to confirm and ordered them from Lakeline.

So, the factory trigger won't function reliably ? Explain why not

Does it still fit with out the olight on????
Correct, the holster is made specifically for the G2/G2C with the addition of the Olight.
@@teamsankey560 But does it still retain the firearm if you remove the Olight?
@@RedWaveGraphics that was my question .. any answer?

im wondering same thing
Do you think this will fit the g3?
After going back to the website, the holster fits G2 / G2C / G3C.
