- It’s the generation 9 Accord coupe, what many consider one of the last great cars to come from Honda. Got one today and cleaned it up, more stuff to follow on this neat car!
He’s at it again! Excellent find. I’ve always looked at these as sort of a modern Acura Legend coupe, and the J35 paired with a delightful Honda stick shift is pure joy. But perhaps my favorite element about this car (oddly) is the old-school Honda starter motor sound. CRANK THAT BABY UP!!

I have the same exact car in the automatic, one time I hit the left paddleshifter by accident on the highway and the transmission made this awful sound and it was slowing down even though I was on the gas pedal, it happened another time but the sound was like a bike revving out extremely quick 3 times, my stock accord can't respond like that even if I tried to mimic its rev timing..
been thinking if i should trade my 18 accord 2.0t for one of these.

Very cool. I am getting a 2013 model next week. Thanks for this. I am 6ft tall but with a knee problem and long arms - so I am considering a set of seat extender that will give me that extra 2-3 inches further back for straight knee. Look forward to your info

Nice I have the identical model but a 2014, only had it about 6 weeks. I love the car, I do find the clutch somewhat difficult to operate smoothly. Just me?
I read many reviews that said the same thing before I bought the car. I also read a common complaint was dead/numb steering feel, and rev hang too. Honestly I was expecting all these things to be issues but none of them are at all. The clutch feels wonderful, steering is very solid/tight, and rev hang isn't that bad. I've really enjoyed the car in the few days I've owned it. Already have a bunch of parts on the way.
Try doing a clutch delay valve removal, I got a 2013 and I did feel a difference after the removal, the clutch becomes more predictable and it seems to engage smoother
Would you ever buy a CR-Z?
I test drove one, a 2013 6 speed, it’s sort of on the list but it was so lifeless I don’t think I’d enjoy it. They are beautiful cars though.
Where do you find these cars? Fb marketplace is the worst place to look for cars, and dealers ask too much for cars with all the markups and stuff
They are out there. The prep work is the important thing. I do the research, know what I want, look every day, call immediately when I find it, have cash on hand and am ready to make a long drive to get it. This one was far away (10 hours round trip) but I negotiated meeting near the middle with the seller. It was on autotrader.
@gray25xt It's been really difficult for me to look for a nice 92 to 00 civic ex coupe or hatch. They're selling rust buckets for over $5000 here in PA. I just need a simple, reliable car for my daily commute to work. I want a Honda because i trust these cars. I've had them before and now I want one again
I just bought one sight unseen from 10 hours away from me. 40k miles, no accidents, 1 previous owner, dealership has a 4.5 star rating. You aren't gonna find a decent one for $10k anymore.
