I think it's because criminals only care about scrap value and sport cars in general are typically light weight so less metal to scrap and most owners ether don't care about replacing interior parts or just buy all parts as new aftermarket parts so there's not a lot of parts that you can resell On top of all that people like to put carbon fiber on those cars and you can't exactly crush carbon and form it into something else and it's a very suspicious thing to sell as it's not stock and how the frick did a crack head get their hands on a carbon fiber hood to a doge challenger
Great video. I just had a Kia Soul stolen for a joy ride and now added an alarm but now they break the window cause there dumb a$$3$ don’t see the blinking alarm light and that’s helped a lot but the best thing is for sure a well lit area at night and tucked away in the drive way. “Out of site, out mind”!!!!!!!
@@exzoduss3089 i bought it from a friend and supposedly he didn’t know too. He’s one of those guys that always trades stuff like cars as part of business deals and so on…But long story short, I took it for a “checkup”, just to make sure all the documentation was okay. My goal was to verify if it had been crashed and to check if the tinted windows (and other after market accessories) were registered. And one of the guys randomly came up to me and said “look, i’m sure you know that this car was stolen - and recovered and some point” I had no idea! But in the end it all went well.
I have a neighbor with a Silverado. Got his truck vandalized three times and eventually stolen. Obviously he hasn't learned because he brought another Silverado.
I mean the hood rule is whatever is the most common and used or too replaceable in parts are a quick payday i don’t condone this behavior but it is what it is some of these thieves hate when I have something not common
When I was in high school, some people I met and began to be “friends” assault me to steal my keys to steal my 91 Eagle Talon. They never got me down or my car keys. Last I heard, most have had a horrible life. It was a wake up call go begin meeting better people to hang out.
Are Subarus or Nissans stolen more? I’m looking to get either a Maxima or Legacy. Maxima is really good for the money while the Legacy has the benefit of being less flashy.
some piece of shit stole my grandfather's 69 camaro back in the day in the South Valley of California and the loser takes it to car shows in the Bay Area and Santa Cruz locations! Some losers in an Infinity attempted to steal my 19 Camaro but they ran away. They better hope I never find them.
In my side of the world (Indonesia), I think Toyota Avanza and Kijang are the most common ones being stolen, especially older ones that don't have immobilizer. The bad news here is most people know how to drive manual so that isn't a good deterrence here. Honda Civic and Accord are the only ones on the list that are fairly common here but they are getting rarer by the day thanks to SUV craze. Hyundais are getting more common now but the most common Hyundai here are Creta and Stargazer and I never see any of those ones on the list here. That being said thieves are preferring motorcycles these days as those still don't have good security.

Do you own one of the most stolen rides?
im actually surprised that any V8 charger or challenger or durango aren't on the list
i am surprised as well 😂😂
😂
Not enough are made

Criminals worrying about gas prices.
As I only drive manual, it is a list that does not affect me.
Unfortunately not an option in my side of the planet where manuals are preferable for many.
Manual clutch is the best theft device in the US 😂
Man, if only it was that easy to remove the steering wheel without setting off the airbag. That would be a great way to secure the car.

When I look up the statistics I get a very different list of cars
my car was never stolen but i bought a stolen focus (completely unaware) and that was a total bummer
how was the experience?

This explains why my insurance keep going up and I don’t own neither one of these cars.
The times, they are a’changin. I’m gonna look for a different car soon. AutoTempest?

in LA it’s the infiniti G35/G37 as long as it has push to start
We're riding with ya.
What’s your thoughts on the 2003 4.0L v6 ford ranger??
My 6 speed manual is anti-theft already
Honda crv missing this list is hilarious btw

I dont wanna be that guy but i'm gonna be him anyway. As a european, sounds like an american issue.
Fun fact Kia boys are from Milwaukee not St. Louis 😅
kia and hyundai have Immobiliser in eu only In USA they don't have
The Honda CRV should have been in this list
I guess Audi, bmw, and Mercedes especially the ones with no keyless entry are impossible to steal.
Basically
I was looking at getting a 2022 Kia k5 with push to start or an Audi A6 am I at risk of having it stolen
That’s what im trying to figure out out ? im getting a K5 and i was wondering if they fixed the problem with the 2022 models
Just don’t get a Kia, ever.
Hey, I'm in the top ten woo hoo!😒

Tic Tok and whoever made these videos how to steal these cars needs to be in jail for life. Tic Tok must be shut down right now!!!
I love how kia and hyundai's dumbass' mistake overtook the charger as the most stolen
Forte gt doesn't have an ignition cylinder. No key for this kia
