Year-round Panther fans wanted Stroud or AR. But Fitterer and Tepper had other ideas. Now, Panthers are stuck with sub-par at least another year or two.
All I know is Dan talked about getting all these dogs…but the main dog doesn’t seem to have any bark…bro show some damn emotion on the field, at pressers…the vanilla answers to questions drive me insane 😵💫
20/20 hindsight: In high school and college, Bryce Young didn't own the keys to the bus, he was only a passenger. With the #1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, David Tepper and the Panthers missed the bus entirely.
If the Panthers organization wanted someone who could fill Cam's shoes, then AR15 or Shroud would have been the better choice. Even prior to the draft, Bryce lacked that overwhelming flair that energizes both the fans and the team.
The title of this just shows how ignorant our organization is. If you want to replicate the franchise at its peak then draft AR instead of BY. Hell even bring Cam back to be his backup/mentor would be a better idea than drafting an undersized QB to replace him. Makes zero sense
cam is my favorite player and was why i became a panthers fan. he was an absolute MONSTER!! on and off the field. bryce is just...not that. of course, tepper is a clown who set us back a decade.
Bryce is soft. He has only played with the best players in the country his entire life and only seen success and it shows. I hope I'm wrong but the kid has never had to overcome adversity on a football field.
Bro u r right he been coddled and put in the best situations humanly possible never been thru nothing never had to fight and show out a day in his life even cj said the adversity he been thru made him the player he is today along with AR
Bryce is too small. He was a beast in college but he was in the right system surrounded by other nfl talent. He went to the worse possible situation in history
I've been saying "Cam Curse" since they cut him without enough time to sign with anyone else. I don't know how else to explain this dark cloud over this team. You see teams with less talent in soke positions win more games.
At this time, Bryce isn't even our Matt Corral. Watch the QB School video about Bryce. It's sobering. Either Bryce cannot be fixed, or Bryce does not want to be fixed, but whatever coaching he has received has been totally ineffective.
Cam could take over a game with his arm and legs. Bryce can do neither. At his best he can hand off the ball or throw 20 to 30 yard passes. Teams will always make it difficult for him to do either. We better move on or its gonna cost us another coach whom i think can be successful here a long time.
Soon as cam step off the bus defenses felt intimidated he struck some fear and demanded a certain type of respect team see bryce they just start jokin dancin tlkn about what they gettin into on they off day after they make him look like a damn fool they probly take the game as a joke tbh
Be careful what you wish for b/c I truly believe that behind closed doors an authentic BY is telling Canales that he has doubts that he is an NFL caliber QB.
There aren't many out there who still aren't willing to let Bryce slide on some level for last season. His problems were his problems but the team had problems that were way bigger than an issue at QB. That's last year, though, and this is this year. I don't like what happened on Sunday any more than any other fan, but I'm doing my best to be patient with everything.
I blame Dave Canales for the loss last week, he sold us we would run heavy, I was ready to lose behind the grind, and I do understand Bryce made the throws bad, but we are supposed to be trusting Dave to know how to bring a young man around to play, not lean on him to jump out the gate a finished product.
I know everyone is impatient with the never-ending rebuild, but we have never actually committed to it. Canales and Morgan seem committed to a rebuild, and we must give them time. Please remember that Dan Campbell started 1-6 with the Lions in 2022. Regarding Young, there is no choice but to ride with him as the starter. One of two things will happen, he figures it out and we have a franchise QB, or he won't and we will have a high draft pick. The team isn't built well enough to be competitive for the playoffs right now, so starting Dalton isn't going to let us win enough to be worth the lower draft position. If Young doesn't show growth, the team can either think about drafting a replacement, getting a new project (Howell) or a bridge guy and draft a QB in 26. It was week 1, I know it's the annual overreaction week, but let's see where the team is by week 6 and reevaluate.
This generation of rushing QBs to start as soon as humanly possible is finally catching up to us. For every 1 CJ Stroud there's 50 Bryce Youngs. Bryce Young had "sit and learn for 2-3years" written all over him but that's not the time we live in. Guys are getting to the NFL with all time low amount of games played, snaps taken, offenses/defenses learned and its caught up to us. We've dumb down the NFL so much for these younger QBs who need to learn so much and that only resulted in players knowing even less! Yall can't complain about Bryce not having a spark when it literally got beat out of him. Which is why you don't throw your rookies into the fire just because. Everything I see with this kids just screams complete mismanagement. And not to say Bryce is secretly good, but I honestly believe this kid never stood a chance. And the only scenario he's successful in NFL is the one where he doesn't play for atleast 2 years. You know why he gives "media" answers and seems to buttoned up? Because he's just imitating what other QBs do because he never learned. He's just doing what he think he's supposed to do.
He's the exact opposite of that. Bryce's mental game was supposed to be his calling card. He gives those answers because that's what he's been coached to do all of his life. Do you actually know anything about Bryce Young?
Anyone else notice Bryce says “you know?” a ton? It’s not just stuff from this video. That’s a nervous habit. Guy doesn’t even have an nfl level acumen for answering questions 😂
I want Cam Newton Back for 4yrs he is are brett farve ....and bryce our aaron rodgers bryce has to sit let Cam have the QB1 for 3 yrs while bryce gets himswld together long term please may this come TRUE we need tht energy and our QB1 is sitting making podcast cmon Panther fans I would rather go out swinging with Cam Newton than any QB1 anyday let Beyce mature let Cam Have the Offense
Im not expecting Bryce to be Cam, OR EVEN win a game?!? Im expecting him to look like a decent backup, and so far i would NOT pencil him in as a backup, muchless a starter.
Cam is a little taller lol. He was actually worth being the number 1 overall pick. Not a fan of the still very cocky Cam but again at least he was worth the pick.
Bryce is only as good as what’s around him. I’m an Alabama fan and a Carolina panther fan and I knew it wouldn’t go well. I just hoped that it would go well. He built like a baby, he could make it only if he has ELITE SKILL POSITION PLAYERS. He ain’t that guy..
This is some heavy historical revision of Cams first year or two. Going into year 3 Ron Rivera was on the hot seat after starting 1-4 and tons of people questioned Cams ability as a passer almost until 2015 when all doubt was removed. Not saying Bryce is it, but lets not act like 100% of the fanbase was sold on Cam by game 1 of 2012
Is it over for Bryce Young in Carolina? Let us know in the comments!
Yes. He’s better off playing backup on some other team and earning a starting spot. Carolina Panthers as a franchise is dead
Year-round Panther fans wanted Stroud or AR. But Fitterer and Tepper had other ideas. Now, Panthers are stuck with sub-par at least another year or two.
I had Stroud #1 to the Panthers on NBC Sports Predictor. I've been angry since the draft.
I wanted STROUD as well. Tepper imo has the final say so he gets the blame nod.
Why is the “1 2 step” beat playing 😂😂
Anthony Richardson was the next cam newton and we missed the boat on that one.
The panthers need to build more of a roster before they draft another qb.
All I know is Dan talked about getting all these dogs…but the main dog doesn’t seem to have any bark…bro show some damn emotion on the field, at pressers…the vanilla answers to questions drive me insane 😵💫
Thank you and the offense looks so lifeless when Bryce is on the field
20/20 hindsight: In high school and college, Bryce Young didn't own the keys to the bus, he was only a passenger. With the #1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, David Tepper and the Panthers missed the bus entirely.
Cam gave you authenticity and transparency-Bryce gives you more to be desired everytime he speaks
Bryce young is a pipsqueak , cam Newton is a monster, not even in the same realm
He wasn't even our new PJ Walker...
Not even close to PJ smh🫤
If the Panthers organization wanted someone who could fill Cam's shoes, then AR15 or Shroud would have been the better choice. Even prior to the draft, Bryce lacked that overwhelming flair that energizes both the fans and the team.
It’s funny you mention this, I have always thought this since Cam.
The title of this just shows how ignorant our organization is. If you want to replicate the franchise at its peak then draft AR instead of BY. Hell even bring Cam back to be his backup/mentor would be a better idea than drafting an undersized QB to replace him. Makes zero sense

bryce is just...not that. of course, tepper is a clown who set us back a decade.
Cj stroud had an impact for the texans
If panthers wanted “the next cam” then they stupid AF for not getting Anthony Richardson. Like C’mon man.
Bryce is soft. He has only played with the best players in the country his entire life and only seen success and it shows. I hope I'm wrong but the kid has never had to overcome adversity on a football field.

No, I never thought Bryce would be the next Cam. I thought CJ Stroud could make a Cam-like impact and possibly be even a better overall QB than Cam.
Great segment !
We will never be good as long as Tepper is the owner. He absolutely whiffed on Bryce and the trade. What did we do to deserve this?
Bryce is too small. He was a beast in college but he was in the right system surrounded by other nfl talent. He went to the worse possible situation in history

dont you ever disrespect the greatest qb we ever had stop it

😂😂😂😂😂 they also say, "What's this middle schooler going to do to us?"
Be careful what you wish for b/c I truly believe that behind closed doors an authentic BY is telling Canales that he has doubts that he is an NFL caliber QB.
Our new cam will be CAM WARD!
From
Miami Hurricanes
Omg
The guy who will be putting the ball in the air this year is the kicker lol

I don't like what happened on Sunday any more than any other fan, but I'm doing my best to be patient with everything.
the problem with panthers fans is they don’t wanna admit how bad the team overall is.
bryce’s career would be better on any better team.
Hell I’ll take the next Kerry Collins just show something for the fanbase to be excited about

Bryce unfortunately is over his head and talent level in the NFL.
Tepper has set us back 5 years at least!
I'm starting Herbert this week. We're going to get steam-rolled.
This generation of rushing QBs to start as soon as humanly possible is finally catching up to us. For every 1 CJ Stroud there's 50 Bryce Youngs. The defense could go out partying and come to the game hung over as a dog and get 3 sacks and 2 picks on him easy
If Bryce was the only problem, I would feel better about turning this thing around. It’s both sides of the 🏈.
Bring Cam back
No, I was thinking we fd up.
Anyone else notice Bryce says “you know?” a ton? It’s not just stuff from this video. That’s a nervous habit. Guy doesn’t even have an nfl level acumen for answering questions 😂

crazy how much the Panthers sacrificed to get Bryce Young. For the price they paid they should gotten twice what Cam was
I would take Jake Delhomme 10 times out of 10 over Bryce.
Can't be Cam. Can't beat the impact he had.
The next Cam Newton?? 😂😂😂😂😂

Just Get Cam Back AGAIN..THEY DID CAM WRONG..
Mr. Ummmm, you know
Young is not an NFL QB.
🤣🤣🤣
Dude said all those glowing things about Cam yet him & people like him helped run Cam out of Carolina🤦🏿♂️
People like who?
@@neilchidiac121 Carolina local media🤷🏿♂️
I never wanted Cam gone. I was concerned about his injuries to his shoulder and foot, but never wanted him gone.
@TheFanRookie I remember things differently in fact I remember some of you guys even saying Teddy Bridgewater was a upgrade🤦🏿♂️
@@Double0Kane 2020 Teddy Bridgewater was statistically better than 2020 Cam Newton. You're not as smart as you think you are...

bro cam 1st year he had 4000 yards stfu
Cam also won Rookie of the year in 2011. Cam is the very FIRST Rookie to throw for over 4,000 + yds in the NFL History! 👍
No, Carolina is ass not Bryce
