In Pennsylvania they do some good tuning if you get in contact with one of the guys up here they’ll put you where you need to be they do some great work with cat ecm’s
Love the content of the video, you've really improved this channel so much, I can't for another video, we use to pull a white tractor 2-105 with water injection also and we also ran propane injection also , shew wee we had a hot 🔥 running 2-105 white, but watching you pull is yours is great and I'm glad to see your son is following in your foot steps , thanks for sharing this with us Bruce, your doing great things 👍👏
Kinda miss the old wheels Bruce. I get it’s not you’re style but I think they made that truck look real good. Don’t mind the chrome wheels but them black ones were the bees knees.

Im ok with chrome on a show Truck like his blue pete but this pulling Truck has to look evil.
It was mat Black already so why would you put chrome on it? It doesn’t fit would somebody throw on a mat car chrome wheels? I guess not

the exhaust smoke on the truck seems to go in pulses (6:02) instead smoothly like on the tractor (9:59)

The injectors that were in it before were ample, try em out with the new cam give it more boost even 🤠 if you want the truck to scream like the tractor that is
Big injections and a lot of fuel do that. And with it being computer controlled, that’s why ecm hunts and try’s to find its ideal. That’s one bad ass rig! And hey, if it breaks… you learn something and make it better for its next pull! Keep doing your thing Bruce 👍🏽

It’s NOT running right, watch and listen to any truck running super semi in the NTPA… I can see by the pulsating in the exhaust in the first run.
The truck sounds rowdy as hell. I love it.
We used to use windshield washer fluid and cutting oil. Living up north you get the -30 stuff and it has alcohol so it cools the charge better and burns better.
The only 6 cylinder Cat that sounds like a John deere 2 cylinder!

I love all your videos keep making them my dad used to truck pull and you can look him up on UA-cam his name is Mike schinlaub I was just going to let you know when we always travel they always told us to put stack covers on because the wind drafting over the stacks as you drive can cause the turbos to spend and since there is no oil going to the bearings on the turbo they say it will eventually tear the bearings up we had leather stack covers made and we always put small bungees around them this remember to let the stacks cool down before you put them on lol

I’m super into getting crusty forgotten cub cadets for steals solely to get them running. But you’ve got me wanting to build a pulling tractor out of one. I’d like to either 2 or 3 cylinder diesel swap one of them. I also have this dream of putting a rotary engine from a snowmobile into one at some point. I’ve been keeping my out for a sled with the engine so I can do the swap.

Time to step up to a race trailer.
You need to reach out to the big boys running super semi in the NTPA to get that Cat tuned. Start by taking the injectors back out and flow test each injector, then have someone dial that ECM in and MAP those injectors. I could see by the exhaust smoke pulsating in that first pull that it’s not hitting like it should. Quit kidding yourself!

I’ve heard hundreds of road trucks and pulling trucks with marine cam and big injectors less hp and way more hp and none sound bad like that. It’s something. Timing, tune something. Love the truck keep working at it.

Absolutely the best way to invest in a toy like that. You can buy it built and customize it to your liking. Building one from the ground up is way more expensive and time consuming.
Have you considered different rear end gears to get wheel speed up on the truck

Like I said in the first video of this puller truck.. It WILL be turned into a street truck in no time! Polished wheels, headlights, bumper, stacks, fuel tank, steps, air breathers, etc.. IMO, it was perfect the way it was because it was a pulling truck, not a street truck.
but it wasnt his truck, he said he wanted to build it so it looks like the way he wants it to. So what it looks like a street truck? thats what trucks look like lol

Cat scratch fever is a pulling truck here in Ohio with a really nasty cat motor. His does sound similar to yours. His truck idles smoother but you can hear the break ups when he goes to spool. I do agree it sounds different than any cat motor I've heard of. But if it runs what does it matter how it sounds.
How come you don't put camera's inside the truck and the tractor? So we can see what u see.

Absolutely love the sound of that truck sounds like it wants to 'Get Up and Go'! Also it was pretty cool before when it lifted up them front wheels as to say 'Hang on We are Leaving' so, you added 1000 lbs to the front end and totally ruined the show, nice work.

Put a little thicker oil in it probably quite it up a bit and your launching so be careful how much but you may want to add a little extra oil overall to copansate for slosh
Can you move the chain to take away a little traction so that you can leave without slipping the clutch and it will progressively get more traction down the track?
Part of what i think why it sounds like it is that every thinks is missing is because there is no (if any exhaust) if it had 10” stacks it would sound totally different

Call the greatest tuner in the USA....Tim Gentry...He will bring his 20 dollar laptop and your truck with all his magic will make 30 million horsepower!!!!!! Then when your finished pulling you can go back to his farm and have your way with his cattle. LMAO

Bruce maybe get with tim gentry on a tune? He seems like he knows a thing or two about tuning them, or maybe your friend that helped you update it last time? And how would you be bale to put a more modern ecu on an older motor like that, with adapters?
And the missing sounds is just cause the short exhaust(hood stack), if you had full length stacks it would sounds less like a miss.
