When spinning, frontside rotation: the rider turns the front of his body toward the direction he is travelling. Backside rotation: the rider turns his back toward the direction he is travelling. When riding an obstacle (rail, box, etc.), frontside means the rider approaches the obstacle when it is in front of his body and backside means the rider approaches the obstacle when it is behind his back.
I remember watching sal commentate x games when I was a little kid. Dudes a tv professional with prob over a decade of experience commentating and hosting action sports events. Longer than any of the other hosts there. He’s qualified he’s just not really the guy that’s there to call tricks
Catch the Men's Slopestyle Semi-Finals LIVE from Vail on February 27th. 🤘
Could you please let us know what the song at 2:37:17 is? Many people would like to know.
First run starts at 5:58
A granny from Scotland enjoying the snowboarding 😊

Bring back the US Open :(
34:53 he is perfect jumper 👍
Anyone know what the song is that plays at the end in the highlights? Starts at 2:37:17.
I was gonna ask the same. Lemme see what I can find.
Yep. No clue.
Sebbe with his sleepy steez and super clean and big tricks gets a flow score of 28??? Just aint right
Stoked to watch snowboarding!
nice run!
they really robbin people on these rail scores. half cab TAIL PRESS 3 out? thats gotta be a 9
agreed
Not when people are doing 810 out. 1/2 cab 3 out is kind of a stock trick now days.
Right? I feel like scores for tail/nose press are always too low!
@@elinanilsson1327 right like that is such a risk in a competition setting, there should be bigger reward for these subtleties
@@dreezstring829 Yes!! 👏 They look cool too so if they got proper scores maybe we could enjoy them more often.
Anyone remember when this event was a half pipe/ big air event in Vermont?
New to snowboarding, how can you tell the difference, form a front side trick to a backside trick
yeet to ur face boi

Disliked for intentional politically motivated commentator selection by race
Who? Sal? He's in every comp.
Sal has been commentating comps forever you idiot
Brett Reeves - Brett Brett Brett. You know not of what you write. Very ignorant comment.
