I have one of these in the sand metallic top trim. Absolutely in love with it. 99% of people who aren't whipping around country roads at 90mph in the rain will never notice the torsion beam. Honestly, I think a lot of the complaints about the rear suspension have more to do with the awful tires these things come with. Most of the torque lives between 2500 and 5000 rpm, so it's not too special off the line but really comes to life once you're rolling. Get it up to 50, punch it, and suddenly you're at 100. The power is low-key, but definitely there. Sounds mean when you accelerate and the AWD system handles curves like a champ. The sequential is fun but there's not a ton of power in the upper rev range, so it's kinda pointless performance-wise because taking it to redline won't get you much more than just letting it shift at 5500. Sport mode is super fun, though, and handles shifting pretty well imo. Stock tires are awful. If you're interested in one of these and plan on having some fun with it set aside the money for a set of decent performance tires. It really brought mine to life. I'll second the gas tank criticism. I usually get around 270 miles on full. Can't speak to the lane assist or the cruise control because I never use them. I turned the lane assist off the first day I had it and, thankfully, it stays off. Rear visibility is... meh. I haven't had any issues and the blind spot indicators pick up the slack. If you want something for a similar price point but purely for sport there's probably better options. But it's easily the most fun I've ever had from a daily driver.
I have a 2024 Madza3 hatchback turbo premium plus. The only things that I don't like about it are the small gas tank and that the subwoofer often turns itself off when the volume is at 40.
I originally wrote along detailed review of my own of this 2024 2.5T after watching only a few minutes of your video. But after watching the whole thing, I have to say that I'm very impressed with the way you tackle the review. Discussing different aspects of the car like performance, suspension comfort, daily livability, interior space, quality, ergonomics, tech features etc. I really enjoy the fact that you know all the correct car terms, And I even learned a few things during this review. I know that this comment section is meant to discuss the vehicle and not the reviewer, But this really was one of the best reviews for someone looking to purchase a car, and I'm going to subscribe. Keep it up 👍
We are now 2/3 of the way into Nov. ‘24, and I am beginning to see some ‘24 Turbo Premium Plus CPOs with as low as 3k miles for around $29k. At those prices, this vehicle is a lot more attractive. For me, CPO is the way to go on those.
My first car was a two speed auto. I have a 17 3 and there isn't a lot of changes in the exterior. Mine has has the 2 liter and it gets great mileage in town but on rolling hills on the interstate it down shifts and mileage drops. Not that big of a deal because I drive 98% in town. The backseat is small, but that's not a big deal as only my dog rides back there. Mine is a touring and it came with a bunch of options.

The six speed transmission might not be as appealing as a dual clutch but its reliability is bulletproof.

Is the visibility an issue at all?

CPO is my preferred also. It's how you can get a really great deal on a very gently used (most of the time) vehicle.
@ Absolutely!

The Mazda 3 is awesome. I would get the sedan.
Talking about long term reliability would you recommend the turbo or non turbo? Thanks!
Wondering the same probably get a 2025 with the awd turbo spec
