For the table, sand it down, paint it with a flat or eggshell white finish and then finish it with a water based polyurethane top coat.

Fusion paint is really good for a smooth even finish on furniture, you don’t need to seal it but if it’s a high traffic area I’d recommend

the table's giving ceiling...lol do u guys know what i'm talking about? the bumpy texture on the ceiling in some houses, sometimes sanded down nowadays but before it was the prickly, oh no my balloon popped, texture
