This is my favorite cover of this famous song. NOBODY else sings it with the right emotion. Ive listened to it a bunch to times and it never gets old. =) so happy he won the golden globe!
Definitely the most moving song from Glee. I knew Kurt will be my favourite character, and this song makes me understand why. Chris Colfer as Kurt is amazing. He has this wonderful voice and this talent... I... Just love him.
One of the best performances. Not only is Chris an amazing singer, but the emotions conveyed by his acting make it difficult to believe how little experience he had in both. I love this performance so much, especially watching it as an adult caregiver for both of my parents for 24 years, 24/7.
Every couple of months I come to this song. It means so much to me. My daughter loved watching it on my phone along with all the other songs. She was the #1 Glee fan. On Nov. 20, 2010 she was murdered and sexually abused at the age of 2.5. This song was sung by my brother at her funeral. With trial coming up Glee is something my dad and I watch. We feel she is still here watching it with us. Thank you Glee for making my daughter smile in every episode. We will get Justice for Lily.
My mom just went to the hospital with severe abdominal pains. I watched this and I'm bawling right now. I can't stop crying. So much emotion behind this.
This was literally the most touching song of Glee I've seen yet. Granted, I'm only on season 2 but still, it was so moving. I literally was crying my eyes out for Kurt because I've been there before when the one you never think will fall and could die actually does. You just want to hold their hand but never can anymore.
I think that this is one of the most inspirational version of this theme that I've heard / seen. The relationship between fathers and sons, is so many time, so hard to handle... love is the answer. Beautiful!!! Simply amazing.
This song really helped me through a tough time. I was bullied a lot in school, and all day, every day, I just resisted the urge to cry, so I wouldn't seem weak. One day, it just too much, and I locked myself in my room, put this on replay, and just let it all out. If you ever see this, Chris Colfer, I just want you to know, that because I was able to let myself cry that day, I manned up and told my parents. I got to transfer to another school after that, and I'm actually happy now. Thank you!
This hit a soft spot, I have not cried a drop in over two years. I looked this up and saw Chris Colfer had sang it. About 20 seconds into the video I started crying so hard.
I am literally dumbfounded by Chris Colfer's talent. He is the only actor on the whole show who could have handled all of the storylines he had last season. To deal with all of the bullying, switching schools, THIS storyline, Prom, etc.??? So incredible. Everyone on "Glee" is good on some level-and a lot of them are even multi-faceted. But, in my humble opinion, NO ONE can act like Chris Colfer. Bravo
this is one of my favs, i never imagine it as more than a beatles happy-love song but glee reimaginated it as a song for a son thats grieving his father illness kudos to the person who tought of this
I have never seen Glee, but I have watched some of the performances here on UA-cam. One of the performances led me to this, and having never seen Glee, I cried. This is one of the most powerful performances I have ever seen.
I love the little details on the flashbacks. Like on the bike with the pink stripes. All in all I just love them They are two AMAZING actors but together they alway create the perfect dynamic!!!^^
I was never really one for the show, until a couple weeks ago when they had a marathon on tv. And now I'm absolutely addicted. The way Kurt's dad is so supportive of him, gives me hope for all other parents with children who march to the beat of a different drum. This performance is one of my absolute favorites.
Crying. This is so beautiful. The Beatles version is so upbeat and happy, but I love how Glee changed it so it matched the emotions. Kurt/Chris, brilliant vocals. Rachel and Quinn look so sad! -3
This performance and Somewhere Only We Know make me cry every time I watch them... And to all the people saying the Beatles version is better, that's true, but only because it is the original. The way Chris sang this was amazing, and so emotional.
this was beautiful. i was smiling the whole time. i truly feel for kurt but seeing the flashbacks, (especially the tea party) i was smiling ear-to-ear. i wanted to cry but it was just... yeah
That was beautiful. I don't watch the show so I don't know how great of an actor he is, but he's certainly a talented vocalist. I don't understand why people constantly feel the need to bash other peoples talents. How would you feel if someone else completely trashed what you were passionate about? Just let these people do what they love, whether you think they're talented or not.
I always sing this song in my head when i this of my nanny, it actually makes me feel a lot better. I love Kurt and it really means something to people when he sings it.
This was the first episode I had watched from Glee, I'm stoic when it comes to sentimental stuff, but man...did I cry in this scene >.< basically proved that Chris Colfer is an incredible and talented actor, and Kurt Hummel defines everything I like about Glee.
This episdoe is so close to me Makes me cry every time i watched kurt did a great job singing it and this is the day my grandmother was in the hospital when this show came out :(
@CSPoliticsShow I agree 100%. It is a performance that would never be seen again. I am so happy to have lived to see it. It is absolutely incredible. I want this sung at my funeral, whenever it happpens.
This is my favorite cover of this famous song. NOBODY else sings it with the right emotion. Ive listened to it a bunch to times and it never gets old. =) so happy he won the golden globe!
❤13 years later and I still cry every time I hear "Kurt" sing this song.
Definitely the most moving song from Glee.
I knew Kurt will be my favourite character, and this song makes me understand why. Chris Colfer as Kurt is amazing. He has this wonderful voice and this talent... I... Just love him.
Such an emotional song!!!!!
@ar15a2 Do you realize "homosexual" is not an insult ? It's who he is. And he's proud of it. I respect him for that.
That was the most amazing thing I've ever ever seen...
This is the song, the video, the character, that made me fall in love with the show
One of the best performances. Not only is Chris an amazing singer, but the emotions conveyed by his acting make it difficult to believe how little experience he had in both. I love this performance so much, especially watching it as an adult caregiver for both of my parents for 24 years, 24/7.
omg he is such a good singer! ;)
Does anyone else notice how he was wearing a bow tie and now he like never wears one but Blaine does
No matter how many times I watch this, I always find myself sobbing into my pillow. So wonderful. Chris did a great job!!
Made me cry the first 3 times I saw this episode.. every single time. Love this song, and by far one of Chris's best glee solos
Was I the only one who cried?
@SK8musicfeeling well maybe because they think it sounds better that way, and this version makes me smile more than the Beetles did...
Every couple of months I come to this song. It means so much to me. My daughter loved watching it on my phone along with all the other songs. She was the #1 Glee fan. Beautiful, sad, and empowering all at the same time. Moment like these while they're singing and can truly relate to the song are why I watch Glee.
this makes me cry every time
every time I watch this I cry. Its just so sweet, and he did such a wonderful job on it!
The kid can sing, makes me wipe my eye. Lost my brother 40 years ago...you never get over that stuff.
My favorite Kurt song. I never finished this series but I still love it. Especially because one of my favorite singers guest starred for a season
My mom just went to the hospital with severe abdominal pains. I watched this and I'm bawling right now. I can't stop crying. So much emotion behind this.
Ugh, I love Kurt- his songs are always filled with such emotion
This was literally the most touching song of Glee I've seen yet. Granted, I'm only on season 2 but still, it was so moving. Amazing... Kurt's singing is always emotional and tears me up
This song really helped me through a tough time. I was bullied a lot in school, and all day, every day, I just resisted the urge to cry, so I wouldn't seem weak. One day, it just too much, and I locked myself in my room, put this on replay, and just let it all out.

1:37 Little Kurt's hair swipe is too much!!! Love Kurt's voice in this!!!
OH god, how beautiful isn't this?! Seriously, I want to cry and jump into the episode and hug Kurt!
This hit a soft spot, I have not cried a drop in over two years. I looked this up and saw Chris Colfer had sang it. About 20 seconds into the video I started crying so hard.
I like how the little Kurt really looks like old Kurt. They are both so cute.
I Love the softness Kurt brings to this song!
I am literally dumbfounded by Chris Colfer's talent. He is the only actor on the whole show who could have handled all of the storylines he had last season. nnn! i just about died when the video ended. his expression and his singing really tugged at my heart. i love ya kurt!
this is one of my favs, i never imagine it as more than a beatles happy-love song
but glee reimaginated it as a song for a son thats grieving his father illness
kudos to the person who tought of this
Me and my family buried my grandmother yesterday. This version sums up everything I'm feeling right now.
One of the most beautiful things I've ever seen/heard. ♥

I have never seen Glee, but I have watched some of the performances here on UA-cam. One of the performances led me to this, and having never seen Glee, I cried. This is one of the most powerful performances I have ever seen.
Every time I see this - I cry.
This is so beautiful!
I love the little details on the flashbacks. Like on the bike with the pink stripes. All in all I just love them They are two AMAZING actors but together they alway create the perfect dynamic!!!^^
I love the emotion and meaning that is sung into this version.
This is beautiful, slowing it down gives it so much meaning
He is the most adorable person I've ever seen! I wanna hug him!
I was never really one for the show, until a couple weeks ago when they had a marathon on tv. And now I'm absolutely addicted. The way Kurt's dad is so supportive of him, gives me hope for all other parents with children who march to the beat of a different drum. This performance is one of my absolute favorites.
Both versions of the song are so different and yet equally as good. I love Chris's voice in this. He can actually express the sadness.
Awww I can't stand seeing kurt crying !
i can listen to this over and over. he is just brilliant
Crying. This is so beautiful. The Beatles version is so upbeat and happy, but I love how Glee changed it so it matched the emotions. Kurt/Chris, brilliant vocals. Rachel and Quinn look so sad!

I am so impressed with how different the song was sung than the original, but it was still sooo good! I never thought of the song in this light.
This performance and Somewhere Only We Know make me cry every time I watch them...
And to all the people saying the Beatles version is better, that's true, but only because it is the original.
The way Chris sang this was amazing, and so emotional.
Kurt does an AMAZING rendition of this song! He, Santana, and Brittany are my favorite Glee characters!!!! :)
He has an amazing voice!
