A literal heart breaker when they all said their least favourite song was 'dont stop believin' 😭
It's probably just because that song was everywhere and they had to do it so many times.
Kinda reminds me of when Brendon Urie yelled out, “God Damnit I’m fucking tired of this song!!” When he sang “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” at one of his concerts because he’s been singing it for around 10 years. The cast probs feels the same way about singing “Don’t Stop Believing” for like 6 years.

Don’t Stop Believing was the most iconic and recognizable glee song on the show and the actors hated it🤣🤣🤣

I'm glad Naya brought up Santana's rant against Kurt as being a least favourite messy moment. My friends and I are still like "why the fuck was that scene so mean??" when we think back on Glee. Definitely crossed a line. Anyway, loving the podcast, thanks for doing this guys!

Crystal Randolph It was in Season 6 where Kurt objected to Santana and Brittany being engaged and Santana had a good minute-Long rant about how intolerable Kurt is and the reasons Blaine left him, etc.
Especially since a lot of people in the fandom think it’s so iconic when really it was too far and more about Chris then it was about Kurt.
Yes, I think this was just not funny, it was bullying and it insulted Chris. I'm so gland Naya didn't liked this rant too.
Agreed 10000%!! That rant was out of pocket, it was SO mean and uncalled for. They attacked his physical features to a point where it was just below the belt. I dont know who wrote that or who okayed it, but it was messed up. The fact that Chris was actually upset by it makes it even worse.

@@eliza592 I don't know if it was "stolen" (since I assume they paid the rights to perform it like that, but who knows...). However, Glee did this sort of stuff often -- they'd use other people's song covers whenever they wanted to give songs a "different feel." They did the same with "Dancing with Myself," for which they used the Nouvelle Vague cover of the song.
And I guess there's nothing inherently wrong with that, but then fans would call it the "Glee version" as if they'd been the ones to think of that interpretation. Yet sadly, the ones who actually did create those covers likely didn't benefit much from their versions being on Glee.

“why do they hate ‘don’t stop believing’ “ it could be 1 of 2 reasons (both of which are rational)
1) because they sang it constantly. during rehearsals, the actual take they used, all the takes they didn’t use, concerts, rehearsals for concerts.
2) or they just don’t like the way glee sang it, heather says here she likes the original just not the glee cast version.

Trine Bæk Højgaard Apparently they all agree on disliking this particular, forgettable song (which I personally loved) out of HUNDREDS to choose from (with tens of trashy ones) because it's basically Mark Salling singing his love to a child. Which makes this video possibly even more utterly depressing than it already was with the gratuitous bashing of their signature song and Naya subtly implying she's still mad at Dianna.
