Summer 1958 .The most beatiful of my life.A party on a terrace overlooking the sea I met Nicoletta, brunetta, eyes l.ike the coal. The spark struck immediately. We have not been separate since then. Now I'm almost 86 ,Nicoletta 82. We have two daughters and two amazing granddaughters. We love each other as much and more than then
Phyllis was amazing and a talent. I wondered why her solo career wasn’t bigger but she was so huge with her sisters that was good enough. I thought Phyllis was in late 80’s and not in good health for awhile. May she Rest In Peace and know her talent made a difference to generations of fans.
This is the first 'Sincerely' I remember, until I heard the Moonglows' original some years later at a vintage car show at a local Burger King. Funny, because all my life I thought the McGuires version was the original - it sounds so 1940s! But the Moonglows' was the original, and pure, soulful doo wop
Rip Phyllis Mcguire, my Aunt Rip use to sing this song all day, you brought love through our homes with this song and other you all made. I was a little one when my aunt would sing Sincerely. You will be missed. When I hear this song, I can still see my aunts hair teased and pinned up singing, as if she was you lol. Thank you so much for being a real artist. You will be missed.
My dad worked for Phyllis Maguire here at Rancho Circle personal security to her for many many years until his passing of cancer. She was such a caring and loving person to my family when he passed. God bless her RIP
@@youminholastransit3218 I do not know anything personal about her even when my dad works for her, he was very confidential when speaking about work with respect to her
I just turned on Twin Cities PBS and started watching a show recorded in 2004 called Magic Moments -- The Best of 50's Pop. These 3 sisters performed, they looked & sounded amazing after all those years! I wasnt born until the late 60's but I sure do love all this fantastic music from the 50's! Such a wonderful era.
Sincerely Oh yes, sincerely 'Cause I love you so dearly Please say you'll be mine Sincerely Oh, you know how I love you I'll do anything for you Please say you'll be mine Oh Lord, won't you tell me why I love that fella so He doesn't want me But I'll never, never, never, never let him go Sincerely Oh, you know how I love you I'll do anything for you Please say you'll be mine Oh Lord, won't you tell me why I love that fella so He doesn't want me But I'll never, never, never, never let him go Sincerely Oh, you know how I love you I'll do anything for you Please say you'll be mine Please say you'll be mine

I'm glad I was born in the 2000's because we have modern medicine, and there is much less sexism, yet I still get to enjoy music and TV from this era. It's a win win

With the passing of Phyllis McGuire today, they're all reunited in the promised land.

I actually didn't hear about her passing.....
OH really? I didnt see that anywhere.

Phyllis made a fortune in something, and they were extremely hot and talented. Like General Patton said all glory is fleeting, ill miss her.
My Dad absolutely went quiet & stared at the TV, anytime these 3 were on. All 3 were total knockouts. -----------------------WolfSky9, 73 y/o
Just another sad event in a very sad year. I loved hearing the McGuire sisters on the radio when I was in high school.
Where did u go to high school ?
How are you doing today my name is Eric Moore and how is the weather over there
The McGuire Sisters were fantastic! And this clip from the early days of television is a treasure. Phyllis McGuire is a legend
I Agree……………R.I.P.
Thanks for these beautiful memory
The McGuire Sisters were such powerful singers, and singing my favorite song by them brings goosebumps.
😊
I love this song….I can still here my mom sing “I’ll never never never never let him go” RIP mama I love you
Believe me, she loves you too.
Just sounds like 1959 all over again!!
Ike was in office..I'm 60, and raised in the seventies, and i would rather be living back then..
...Well, I'm 65...at least, though very young, I was on the earth in those years, I was breathing the same air of the McGuire Sisters, what a luck !!!
Michael Don't fight change.
Talk about great harmony. Wow. Before the Beatles came to town, it was all about the harmonizing girl groups.
So many beautiful hits over the years....
They don't make singers or write songs like that anymore. They were beautiful.
This song is soooooo good.

Exactly, just like the 50's hit sh-boom by the crew cuts i didn't know the original was the cords which was a all black band
phenomenal, no contemporary ladies can touch this forever classic. another of mom's favorites.

Please help explain the voices I hear at about 54. Is this a nightclub or was it someone at the recording ?

I think it was "sing it, baby!". Interesting how you guys' minds work...
