This reminds me of what I'm going through now. Only difference is I'm gonna be a living liver donor for my mom. I also didn't tell her that I'm doing it. I am a blood match, I had my MRI and CAT scan done and this week I go see a psychiatrist for a 2 hr session to see if I'm mentally capable. This episode really makes me feel more at ease about my decision.
Tiffani and Rich did indeed steal our hearts in their first appearance on DFW and their second time around is like the first time! Laterras, thank you for DFW!
Their story touched me in so many ways; the first episode and the second. Thank you Lisa for saving your friend’s life! I have been on the donor registry for about 20 years. Came close to plasma donation last year but then I had my own major surgery to go through. This disqualified me. Like Lisa said, they do not play about the well-being of potential donors. I am committed to staying on that registry!
As a former ED RN, it hurts to hear about the pain and trauma Tiffani went through but I’m rejoicing to see her joy and positive outcome. In the ED we see people at their worst. We never get to see them after they have recovered and persevered. This story was truly healing to my heart, soul and spirit!

Actually 25 years this past February. I donated to her a few months before getting pregnant with my daughter. My baby girl will be turning 24 this August THE LORD bless and keep.. . and the transplant was in Feb 1998. Right smack in the middle of my Son 1/97. Lord JESUS THANK YOU for keeping me!

In tears! I just love God's strategic moves. He brought in this man who could handle everything Tiff was about to go through. The friends! Where are friends like that?! Can I have just one? The flexibility in her job. Still being able to have her career. The platforms to share of God's goodness. I'm over here complaining of all this discomfort from things not lining up for me, but Tiff is proof that although your season may seem dark and it feels like God isn't moving on your behalf at the moment.... HE IS MOVING. This pain is a part of the journey. It's working for the good of you and his Kingdom. Thank you Rich for showing the world what "through thick and thin" really looks like.

At first i thought Mrs. Tiffani was very selfish & difficult to love but then i listened to their story & learned a lot, this could be nothing but god this man hung in there with her despite the difficulties not many men would even consider this test & then pass blessings to him for being so patience this is a good man,my heart goes out to her for all she went through & continuing to endure but in the end I’m so happy they followed the lead of gods works, i hope their future is bright & more blessings to come.

This was such a blessing especially because I am a dialysis technician by profession and I see and know what my patients are going through. I pray and hope that their will be more heroes like her friend to help my patients. All my patients need a kidney yes but most are unable to provide or afford the basic things in life example food and clothes. This really break my heart but this program remind me that God is still able and there are still heroes in the world 🌎

I wanted to turn it off at the beginning of the first episode, but I could not. I knew there would be tears that I didn’t want to shed today, but I thank God that I did watch and I sure did sob. Today is the 4th anniversary of me losing my mom to ALS and since then I've loss 2 men I deeply loved as well as other family members. It's hard but I'm so glad I've never missed a podcast. I get something out of every one of them. But this one is especially special because of the anniversary. I just need to breath, just breath 😭. I'm just so tired on so many levels.

Praise God!! I am so happy that she was blessed with a kidney! To God be glory! The love Tiffani and Rich have for each other is so real and beautiful. Intimacy does not mean sex! So beautiful and true. I absolutely love Tiffani and Lisa's friendship. This is what true friendship looks like. It was sad to hear Tiffani say that she lost a lot of friends, especially ones who she thought she was close with, once she became ill. But I've come to realize that not everyone can handle sickness or grief. It places a burden on others that not everyone can handle. Life is hell so you might as well laugh and make the best of it! "Do you Believe in Miracles. I do." How can anyone who watches this Podcast NOT believe in miracles, because Tiffany & Rick's story is a testimony to the miracle working power of God. It's kind of ironic because just yesterday, Sunday, 11/20/22, I posted a status on my FB page using that exact SAME question as part of the Caption I posted in the status. My personal response to that question is a RESOUNDING YES! I DEFINITELY BELIEVE IN MIRACLES, and I am living in excited anticipation of receiving one from God before 2022 ends!

I was so glad you did an update on their story! This was such an awesome show, informative in so many ways, shows how important and valuable friendship is, also hearing about Rich was able to restore his relationship with his father before he past, and to watch a life go from stormy to abundant. Amazing! Wanted to speak on fathers restoring relationships with their children...
As a mother who is currently raising children with an absent father, it's so scary to let them back in (after doing so 3-4 times) and with heart break that lives with my kids, one goes into protective mood to keep them away. Yet I am learning to prepare and coach my children this time around to be ready if and when that day comes. I believe there is healing that comes to kids or adult sons and daughters in knowing and having a relationship with someone they exacted to be in their lives! Great show Laterras!

I think this is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, my oldest sister is going through the same thing right now, bit she refused my help, I can't go against her pride. I just cant lose another sister. I lost my identical twin to Lupus or so im told, just hearing their testimony gives me peace and I now understand why. My sister just does not want me to give up my life for hers, bit im more than willing. My twin sister did the same i did not she was in the hospital dying. I just got the call she was gone. Im so lost right now because half of me is gone, but the two videos I watched gave me peace. Thank you for what you do.
