It’s a good way for other people to see what’s out there for off grid living. Thanks Kyle!
Or glamping, fishing trips, RVing, etc. Great call
@@russellwatters5891 When it's too hot I go sit in the creek, this is off the grid for me.
@@levent8208 two words- snapping turtles...lol

@@byerenny That's good, but I was reminded of the song, " My Dingaling" when they said sitting in the creek...lol 😂🤣
I would agree that this Wave is perfect for the off grid life. Warm days and nights will no longer be a problem. Good thing I can also charge this thru solar my solar panels.
That was a pretty awesome video. This is actually the first time I have seen a portable airconditioner that can be powered by a power station let alone charge it thru solar panels.
Glad somebody is improving the tech on off grid AC. Not too long ago, a generator was the only viable option.
Thanks for showing us this, Kyle. Off-grid doesn’t have to mean primitive. I really appreciate seeing how it is possible to have some comforts while still using resources carefully.
As another UA-cam channel put it - I'd rather thrive than play Survivor.
Hello Barbara
How are you doing?
A normal schmo can’t afford one, but nice that they’re giving a lot of these to UA-camrs
Heck a normal shmo these days has a $900 cell phone. A normal shmo can buy one of these on credit like our cell phone companies coax us to do, lol. They are expensive but hey, it's a niche product not mass produced like a typical window-mount air conditioner.
UA-camrs get heaps of shit free
Then talk about how great it is 🙄
@@jasonlee8667 The first time they vouch for low quality junk, i unsub. I have seen a few ,sht all over the freebie.🤣 UA-cam is the LAST place i look for product reviews anyway with 2 exceptions, Will Prowse and Project Farm. Both have solid reps. My bad, 3. Hobotech is on the list. All are mostly solar and tools and all give accurate info.
I bought it! Thanks for the discount code! I'm in AZ. It was 104 in the shade at 10:00am today. My friend in Southern California is experiencing power outages already. Getting prepared in case they come to AZ. Hopefully this unit will help lower my energy bill too. I'm also looking forward to taking the Wave up north to my off grid property. We have avoided going during the summer months. Even though the temperature cools off in the evening and early morning, the days are brutal. Hopefully now we can spend more time up there.
Hello Wendy
How are you doing
Thanks Kyle for the review. This would really come in handy in your off grid cabin. Was not expecting that it would be that easy to attach the battery of the Wave. I am liking what I am seeing.
Dude this inspires me so much. It’s like a dream of mine. My family and friends think it’s crazy to live off grid. I think it’s crazy not to. Wake up America. This is the new future, or the past revisited.
Yeah, I saw it a few days ago on My Self Reliance. It looks like a great product. 👍
They are flooding the off grid youtube channels.

Sounds like a good item for someone who is off-grid that absolutely needs A/C. Since I grew up in Ohio being in northern Minnesota is like having natural A/C to me. lol! If I were to go off-grid I'd probably be okay without it, but my wife (born and raised in Minnesota) would possibly want a unit. I guess it's all about convenience and comfort. Looks like a good quality unit. We'll see how it is when you get to actually use it. Good demonstration video. Showed how easy it is to set up and how to adjust everything. Thanks for sharing the information!
Humidity is the opposite of natural AC. Minnesota is a swamp for Humidity.
@@MyFriendlyPup nothing compared to Ohio!
@@MyFriendlyPup Nearly as bad as Southern Texas in the summer.
Cool unit for sure would use it for camping on those hot and sticky nights. Thanks Kyle
I do agree that this system is for those who like the modularity and portability of the system. You can bring the Delta Pro with you whenever you decide to go off grid for the weekend.
Hi Kyle 👋. Thank you so much for this video. 💗 This such an important air-conditioning machine especially in very hot countries, where its hot most of the time and you see people sweating like crazy. Nigerians who live in Nigeria like I've seen on UA-cam could really benefit from this machine. Here in the UK we do get some horrible heat waves so I think it can be useful not just in the States but worldwide and I hope many of us capitalise on the current offer. Thank you and God bless you all.🙌
This good to know! I have other ecoflow prod so I know it’s good. Thanks for the review
I can say I got a bluetti ac200max generator and they are awesome. I don’t have a off grid cabin but I use it along with a lifepo for my camping trailer and it’s nice and quite.
You need to vent the hot exhaust outside, vent it through your wood stove if its easier
Good idea! Glad you showed this. I'll show you 90 degrees here in South Carolina. We've been lucky in the past few days around the 80s though.
One simple problem is that they don't work unless you have the unit 3 feet away. Had a much bigger and more powerful one in Thailand and it did not help cooling even just my living room which was well under the recommended area volume to cool the room. Also you must vent the exhaust back out a window or it just blows hot air back into the room.
You would be better off buying a small generator and a window unit.
@@theyangview1898 What about a mini split? Basically for summer and warm weather. Use the stove for winter heat.m

Gonna be 94 tomorrow. This is looking good right now. My friend in AZ is gonna be stuck in 115. Congrats on the continued sponsorship btw!

Super cool. Nice review. Thanks for sharing
Very informative video. I look forward to see how well it works. Well done
Funny I just seen this on Shawn James channel. Pretty neat idea. You are a great spokesperson for these products. It’s so nice they sent one to you guys
This unit is really cool 😎 thanks
New things for Kyle. Cool for off grid.
Thank for info Kyle
You have products I didn't even knew existed
Have a great day
Awesome! Thanks Kyle!
You and Shawn James got his too! AC FOR ALL!!
Great information on the product and all its possible way it can be charged. Great job Kyle. (Judy NB)🌲🇨🇦
Well, we will have to see test of time. Launch products are not always the best way to try a product especially when it cost close to $2000. :) Hope you do get a chance to use it soon so you can really test it.
That is really COOL!
I’ve been eyeing those, it will be interesting to see if it cools your whole cabin, my cabin is similar sized and I use a 8000 btu a/c but it drains my solar in 4-5 hours. The Eco is rated at 4000 btu I believe.
Better off buying a small generator for when you need a longer run time
@@theyangview1898 Better to have a few options available. Two is one, one is none. I have an electric stove along with a butane and gas as backup.
Thanks 👍 Kyle
Good looking AC unit! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Nice little insightful vlog 👌.
Are.s family farm put the same system in there cabin property it's awesome 😎 Didn't look like it's a solar power hog. So happy for you guys to have that for super hot days . Thanks for sharing Kyle . Hi Cerria

Hello Tanya
How are you doing?
Luckily, where I live in Michigan, we only get a few 80+ degree days each year, and that's plenty hot for northern Michiganders. Average summer days/nights are about 73/58. That means we really don't need AC although for the freak upper 80's day, it would be nice to have a portable AC unit. Thanks for the info.
Wow you lucky dog. Here in eastern KY we easily get days of 90+ degrees
Loving that Kentucky waterfall sir
Great review
Cool thank you!
Awesome unit. It will be great to see how the 4000btu does for the cabin.
5000 btu isn't enough for a 1000sq ft room
Hello Becky
How are you doing
Northern Minnesota has been extra cold this Spring.
Really nice!
$2700 in case y'all were wondering but it looks like it comes with the solar generator for that price
😱😱
I think this unit would be ideal to cool down a room like the size of your bedroom but I’m afraid it won’t do much for the whole cabin🤔🤔
I had wanted to get one of those AC units, until I saw the price on em.
I'll bypass for now, and get one of the walmart portable AC units, since they are about 1/5th the price of the ecoflow wave's. Just need a strong enough power setup to use it.
Men you came straight out of 80s cool video and character! 👌🏻😎
Thank you...
Did you update the firmware on your EcoFlow Delta Pro? I want to remember hearing that there was a required firmware update for the Delta Pro if you wanted to add the Wave to it.
What size diameter is the exhaust duct?
I live in southwest Texas and it's been 113 degrees lately, I think I would need 10 of those at least.
I have a silly question/suggestion. If you kept (or mounted) the EcoFlow Wave outside near the opening for the woodstove venting/pipe, couldn't you use the included round adapter to run AC inside the cabin via the pre-existing round opening used by the stove (in the winter)??? The woodstove vent opening is larger, but it seems that you could make that work for incoming AC from the new Wave.
Alternatively, couldn't you also use the existing opening to vent (and bring in fresh air) if you stored the Wave inside? Just thinking out loud. It's kind of a pain to run those AC vents out a window opening in some cases ... depending on the window style and window location.
That was a good video but I'm skeptical. I'm looking forward to watching on a hot day to see if it works. Thanks.
Kyle, is there a condensate drain on this like all other a/c units?
I'm curious how it handles the condensation
How much does it cost my brother sure could use that
If you have the original eco delta, which adapter would you need?
How does it condensate
EcoFlow needs to add more functionality to the attached battery. If the Wave breaks, the battery is useless. It would have been easy for EcoFlow to give the battery the capability to charge a cell phone, tablet or computer. It is hard to justify paying between $800 to $900 for a battery that will probably used only during the Summer months. I would wait to buy the Wave with the attached battery until EcoFlow gives the battery more functionality.
Kyle, does this unit have a condensate drain like all other a/c units?
Very cool and informative. So many places in the US where it is hot with climate control it just makes life a bit easier. Glad these options are coming out and we can see how they work on your channel.
It's nice looking product but at almost $3000, money could be used other places on my homestead. I do enjoy your channel.
Cheers from the great state of Arkansas!!
If you can handle the heat with no problem then going without one would probably be the way to go. Duuuhh!
Just checking how did the AC do for y’all through the hot summer months?
I love the damn thing.... I don't care who says what negative in the comments, another channel I follow showed one,(sorry Kyle) I bought it for my camp in Missouri. Nuff said
Maybe you could build a good fabric insulated enclosure over your bed for those super hot nights.
Is this a swamp cooler?
Cheap advertising for the Delta company Kyle, a great presentation, it should be a game changer that's for sure 🙏🙏🙏
People bitching and complaining need to relax. If you don’t like the content in these kind of videos there’s a simple solution. Be patient and wait for the next awesome download of Kyle’s Cabin or Up North Cierra. Also, it clearly states at the beginning that it’s a paid promotion so it’s not like he’s trying to trick anyone lol. Geez. Can’t we just enjoy these two wonderful people and there amazing pup!?!?!?
Hello. Have a safe blessed night! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Condensation line?
No need for venting?
Hello, I am thinking of purchasing an ecoflow air conditioner. Are you satisfied as a user? Would you recommend it for use in a caravan? Thank you.
Excuse me, did you say in the 90s in Northern Minnesota!?
How do you guys do laundry?
Interesting.
how do you charge the battery?
110v; cig. lighter or solar.
I see this Ecoflow AC is doing the around on UA-cam channels .Shame we can't get it in UK,Plus haven't got 1500 dolars
Or the money to buy the battery and solar panels that goes with it. I think those items would bring the price up to around $3,500.
When you vent, can you show a video?
I really wonder how can the EB3A be the best entry level power station when it is actually just catching up with the likes of the Ecoflow River.
nice
So what does it cost? I went to the link and all it is there is another bunch of testimonials and advertisements but no one ever mentions the actual cost of all of these things. they must be afraid to tell us.
Can buy a 12,000 btu portable a/c unit for a 1/3 of the price.
Kyle, you could sell ice to an Eskimo.
Nancy Faught
No he couldn't.
Now Kyle , I thought your A/C was opening two windows and letting the air pass through. Don’t go gettin soft on us..... lol, your from the North good buddy!
Wow I don’t know my Delta pro died code 121 while the Wave was in the mail and now the wave died after four days of usage error code 67 good luck finding it.prelaunch unit with battery 🪫95 degrees Florida off grid Soooo
Doesn't solar panels emit EMF? My whole reason for wanting to go off grid is to get away from all of the emf. 😊
"cool" 👋😎👍

Man they are milking the youtube creators lol.
I get that creators should be compensated for their work crafting content, but this is the second off-grid channel today I've seen peddling the same item from the same company. You'd think EcoFlow would schedule sending their review freebies to creators more judiciously so that subscribers wouldn't get p.o.'d seeing so daggum many sales pitches in a row. (They're hardly the only company that does this, though.)
And I do think ethical channel owners should clearly disclose that these compensated reviews are sponsored & they've received remuneration &/or a free item which, alas, was not done here.
Especially the ones with the Dirty Mullets 😀
In the creators defense, YT has done alot of them dirty, so they help their cause and income this way. And as far as milking the creators, not all subs watch alot of channels that have these items. EcoFlow, ButcherBox, Thrive, and many more, are just doing the social media thing. I guess if the subs are tired of seeing this, they could ask for a refund, or watch old Friends reruns. 🤔

Its nice but very spendy. My 100 dollar window unit works for me. If its to home I'll stay home at note it gets down to 45/55 that's cool enough for me. During the 90 degree day I jump in the lake and sit in the shade.up north we really don't need air. Open windows at night and shut them by 6 am house stays very cool that way for me
Eco Flo commercial
Can you use it as a heater or to warm up space since it goes up to 82 degrees?
That simply means that if the temperature outside is 115° and it's 107° inside the house, then you can sit your temperature setting at 82° and your unit would kick itself out of workhorse mode once it got to 82°. If the cabin begins to warm up to 90 again then it will kick into overdrive and start cooling it again down to 82 degrees or whatever temperature you have it set at. The only hitting that unit does is inadvertent through the exhaust port which needs to be vented outside if you have it inside the house. Otherwise you'd be cooling it and heating it at the same time.
Kyle you failed to tell us how much it cost. It cost a lot.
