You can always put all the effort you put into meditation into understanding what you’re saying in namaaz. You’ll find a better connection to Allah that way. It’s not supposed to be a farz you are forced to perform after doing everything else. You’re talking to your Creator. Noting is more important than that.
I agree on that note would just like to add to Sanams aspect of being forced or making it a choice of yours is totally up to yourself and if you make up your mind that it’s my time with Allah swt. than i choose to consiously stay connected to him, and like every relationship this also needs to be nurtured🥰 Peace ✌️

What you said about breathing and pranayam is all good ....but you do not get the deep meaning of namaz and fasting...
Fasting is not just for deep cleaning of body and namaz is not just out of fear...both are to connect to Allah.

Incorrect words are used by Sanam for namaz .We are neither forced nor. We do it out of fear we perform namaz to be thankful for all the blessings.

Oof that’s the problem with kids raised in Muslim countries that they are forced to pray. That incorrect mindset and upbringing has cost us generations unfortunately. Salah is not something you do because it’s fard and forced on you. It’s something you do because you realize your worth in front of Allah as his slave and all that he has given you without even asking.

And just one thing to say without sound like a Moral Police that we should try to put the same dedication and focus in the namaz as we try to do while Meditating...
It's bit hard ..but if we just understand the translation of Surah e Fatiha and other small duas (Rulh & Sujood) which are 80% of every Namaz .. and then we focus like Meditation... we'll find more peace and calmness..specially if we try in Fajar and Isha prayers (quite times)
Namaz is in Arabic if we know the translations it is so powerful and calming, but she is right it is an obligation with the strict timeline, and expect you in certain conditions physically, mentally and emotionally, being alert. Prayers, namaz and meditation are all different ways of keeping you compose.
sorry to say sanam don't agree with your perception of namaz and meditation difference one can feel same calmness and serenity during prayer instead of meditation even amna wont try to give other view as well but sometimes she is too invested in thr person himself than what they are saying

Please learn more about Namaz and its wonderful calming effects - research your own religion, the religion Allah has perfected for us. Meditation doesn't come close to it and beware - it has its roots in Hinduism so please do not propagate it.

This is all about pranayam and yog.. this is Hindu practice.. while you're talking about fasting it's same concept of every 11 day of Hindu calendar fasting special day. So yog is truly a Hindu practice and you are talking about this is commendable.
Hindu fasting 😂 you drink juice while fasting and calling it as fasting... we don't drink or eat anything until sunset... namaz is much more greater than yoga ... namaz we do to thank Allah

All the glamour people have double standards. Also they hardly keep their marriage well. Some of them marrying more than twice . No modest level . I don’t understand, are they stupid enough to choose the right person ?or they keep on looking for better options.
