  • Before 1975, only one in five children with disabilities attended public school. The landmark law that would later become known as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, or IDEA, changed that by declaring that schools could no longer deny an education to students with disabilities. Now, 40 years later, AIR Managing Director Louis Danielson discusses the law’s evolution and its continued commitment to greater educational accountability, inclusion and quality for all students.

The narrator didn't have much of a script to follow and made his delivery in a very disconnected, boring manner.

It's not boring; it's somber. He's talking about something tragic that affected every special needs student. It's not supposed to be fun to listen to.

I'm wondering if he's blind. Wouldn't that be amazing if one of the leaders with disabilities is employed instead of someone who is not?
