Ivan Ivanov hello. Well each model needs to have different pictures of his or herself in their book so they would try to get them to shoot with different photographers. If the photographer wants to shoot the model that they found on instagram, you can DM the model and see if they want to shoot - as long as it is not paid you can shoot with them if they are interested as well and they would probably let their agents know about the photographer and they may even get in contact with them to set up the details etc. You can also find the model and go to her bio too her website and possibly send an email to the agency to shoot with that model.

Before discovering your video I had done my research and found three agencies I really liked, Ford models, withelmina models, and elite la models, I had done the online submissions and even contacted one of them via Instagram. I’ve been working my butt off to get in the best shape possible and I’m so close to my goal for that part but I really want this and I feel I’ve run out of options and have no clue what to do next. Hi, I’m not Rowena but I believe that this will help you. I suggest you start out small with the agencies as you’re just starting. Smaller agencies will give each model more attention and are less likely to try to lie to you. Ford, Elite and Withelmina are big names in the industry, and, as an amateur and someone who’s just starting out, you should definitely apply to and attend open calls of more local and boutique agencies. I have had so many model friends sign with a big agency, do jobs and not get paid. If you do decide to sign with a big agency if they are interested, make sure to keep a checklist (or spreadsheet of some sort) and log every job you do so the agency won’t try and scam you for extra money. Good luck!
Ford, Wilhelmina and Elite LA are all very prestigious agencies who are agents for some of the biggest names. As a starting model it may be hard to immediately sign with them, so definitely don’t give up hope and look for some more local agencies to apply to until you build up your portfolio, experience and you can submit again. Don’t worry, this doesn’t mean your career will not take off

HI there! 3 questions: When you get signed to all these different modeling agencies, I am assuming between them, they coordinate your schedule so that you dont get one photoshoot booked on top of another photoshoot in the same day, etc right- like I see it as a lot of jobs to be able to jumble? Also, if I want to become a model but I do see myself pursuing another career later down the line ( perhaps, like I don't know exactly if this will be fruitful or if Ill love it) can I still get paid tgood money to do jobs around my state? Lastly, what exactly is in a contract that I have to take in mind, as in am I able to quit modeling anytime or are there consequences if I decide to end it early, etc?

Peru Barzin you should definitely go on the agencies social media and website and check things out. The models on the social media (take Instagram for example) should be legit people. They are usually tagged in the photos on the modeling agency’s account, so you can click on those accounts and check those people out, too. If they seem legit, then you’re probably in a decent place. You can also dm them or anyone who has worked for the agency and ask about their experience. Advice- always bring a friend or family member with you to shoots and scoutings and avoid going alone if you’re unsure. Good luck! (Just personal experience)
i think that since you’re 14, you don’t have to be that tall yet because you’re still growing. even if you’re done growing, there are a lot of successful models who are 5’7 and below💘!
