- I decided to point the camera out of my office window to show the average Serbian citizen of Novi Sad. It's so rare here to find a heavy person. I'm right around 200lbs and Serbs are always on me for being fat. We never had big famine like e.g. Germans immediately after the WW2 and they are very obese, Americans had famine in time of great depression and dust bowl I believe. Epigenetic theory says there might be connection.

I am serb but live in australia now for a few years and i came to visit my hometown and after 3 months i lost 4 kg (this happened in 2015 and i was about 10 so that is pretty good to loose for a child without any actual excercise)

This is Novi Sad Centre, very nice and every tourist should visit it! Also Tvrdjava in Novi Sad is worth visiting. And people are not fat because they are poor like church rats,wages are low not much left for food that's why they are in good shape

Stop fatwatching! Lol yeah, I was kind of embarrassed when i visited last year. I was the shortest and fattest person I saw there. I live in a very rural area of Virginia where there is no public transportation and walking to the store is not an option. I loved all the exercise I got and it was so awesome nor driving for 10 days

Any GPS will do .all you need is the maps of eastern europe,navigon,sygic,garmin,igo .it doesnt really matter,all you need is maps which you can buy and download right from your gps app....

Hey Charles how are you. From your Albanian friend from Mitrovica (Kosovo). BTW if you'd like to come to Kosovo I'd strongly recommend that you go to Mitrovica as it has the highest population of Serbs in Kosovo there you'll feel "safe". But i also encourage you to go out there and visit some Albanian families as well.
when i went back to Serbia and Croatia my problem was everybody was white i just can get this you do not see black or hispanic person
Are you ethnically Serbian? I hear in universities in Belgrade there are black and Arab students. I also hear there are quite a few Chinese people there too, isn't Serbia accepting Syrian migrants/asylum seekers?
+Samchocolate11 There are. I have two Arab friends on my faculty. It's the faculty of mathematics, they study statistics and probability. I know a guy from Africa, also on maths, studing computer science, and two ladies studing theoretical math. :)
Alex Jack i did not mean that way i live in Orlando FL ,and most of of people i deal every day are not white ,or Caucasian,most people are diffrent race or etnicety of course i do know there ara pleanty of foreigners in Croatia and Serbia, I went to school with gays from Indonesia and Kenya ,i meant GENERAL every day

The reason is not the healthy food. They spend so much time smoking that they don't have time to appreciate their delicious fat food. That is my number one complain about Serbia, smoking!
