As someone who got the platinum for this game i can safely say that unlocking all skills is the most painful achievement, after the first 3 playtroughts beating the bosses becomes a breeze compared to the first one but farming exp for 3+ hours in new game is a whole different suffering
I had luck with that cause i messed up somewhere i had to do 4 playthroughs which was fine and i just had to grind an hour and did that in a loop but it still was annoying af xD correction: i had to grind more on the temple for the lumps of fat you need for the prosthetics
I imagine how he would do against Inner Owl XD. And the Shura ending isn't just sad, it's fucking terrifying. The only weapons that can stop him and are powerful enough to give someone else a chance are on his possession and the only guy skilled enough to kill Shuras was already too old and sick to end you. This means the world had to deal with an imortal, unmatched monster that only lives to kill.
I remember platinuming this game on PC and damn that last fight with Sword Saint Isshin almost cost me my sanity!! Him along with Malenia are the most satisfying victories in FromSoftware history!
@@grimr3vp3r84surprisingly enough I had less trouble with Orphan of Kos than both Isshin and Malenia. Every player has a different experience with each boss I guess.
Love your vids OP just got the platinum today and for this being my first ever soulsborne game from Miyazaki it was quite the journey and I loved every second of it. I will always cherish this platinum trophy and relish on the bragging rights I now have!!!!
I went from 1st playthrough to all achievements on Steam in a total of about 90 hours. If I had gotten gud I would probably say it could be done in under 60. Definitely difficult and time consuming but also very doable and rewarding if you both enjoy the gameplay and the game itself as much as I did. I think this is my favorite Fromsoft game so far based on gameplay and aesthetic alone.
As mentioned before I have finished 3 games before I started Bloodborne. I actually also platinumed them which is why it takes so long to go to a new one. The 3 I have platinumed are Elden Ring, Sekiro and Dark Souls remastered. From easiest to most frustrating even including Bloodborne are: 1. Elden Ring: As long as you complete the game 3 times there isn't much more you gotta do that feels soul draining imo. 2. Bloodborne: Outside of beating the game 3 times you just need to collect every weapon, level 1 to max level and beat the last dungeon boss which the dungeons are a bit soul draining especially when you encounter the enemies that summon red enemies. 3. Sekiro: Farming for supplies and xp is always soul draining. In Bloodborne I got the required items naturally and just needed farming because I accidentally sold them. Here that ain't the case and after acquiring the 3 endings I spent 1/4 of my total play time just farming. 4. Dark Souls Remastered: If you know you know. Just 1 trophy is enough to make it the worst. The Rare Weapons trophy.
I understand what you mean about the Purification ending it feels way more fitting for Wolf, as a last act to grant Kuro's wish, instead of what I think is a selfish true ending as Wolf lives to serve but at what cost are you willing to do so, like a machine going to get food for his long dead master refusing to stop because it's all THEY lived for not their master's actual wishes.
I remember the first playthrough series on this game I saw was from a UA-camr named Afrosenju (shouts out to him), some of his commentary & rage quitting got me through this game mostly for humor but bro I must say I like yours too. So, keep up the good work. For the past couple of years off & on this game is like the 5th game on my completed Platinum list so far & proud of it, and I definitely like the story, the characters, the gameplay, the atmosphere, etc... I can see why it won game of the year. Stay up tho! *#Gamers4Lyfe**!* 🎮 💯
I think I went through 5 controllers over my time spent on this game. Just using the controllers with turbo speed. By far my favorite game, but the next one should come with a free controller.
Honestly I thought the owl was harder than owl father. I beat owl father in my 3rd or 4th try but the first fight always takes me around 10 tries l. I also like the first fight more because it feels more simple and more like a dance
I said the same thing in the Sekiro Subreddit and people made it seem like I was silly. Having space to maneuver, bait attacks and dodge his projectiles makes Owl (Father) easier than Owl Shinobi and I saved Shura for my last play through! The only boss in ALL of FromSoft that took me more than a day to beat was Demon of Hatred. Fuck DOH.
Started Sekiro in 2019 and rage quit the same year after stuck with genichiro, play again this year (2024) and got platinum tonight! getting all skills was pain in the ass.
After 2 weeks, endless grind, sleepless nights, nonstop shadow dying twice thousands of times.. I still don’t see me going platinum any time soon. Great game though
I’m a bit “sad” that all souls + souls-like have very high Platinum %. But then again, Sekiro and Bloodborne platinums were free. For me, true completition comes from NG+ Max and a good general understanding from all bosses (no struggle).
Soulsborne games don’t have high plat percentages cause they r easy, it’s cause most of the people who play them are completionists who will go for all the of the trophies, there are many many games that are astronomically easier than any souls game and have a low plat percentage cause most of them who play it are casual gamers but this isn’t the case with souls games, most of the time when someone plays a souls game he is going for the plat
Sekiro is my favorite game of all time. Ive 100%ed it 3 times. Platinum on ps4, all achievements on xbox and again on steam. I wish i could erase my memory and do it all over again for the first time.
I sincerely LOVE this game, and for a long long time, this was my ONLY platinum Trophy...im thinking the difficulty of this platinum has scared me off of platinum hunting XD
I love this video & your souls platinums which might make me platinum souls games & my first souls game I'm gonna platinum soon is Sekiro 2nd is Dark Souls Trilogy 3rd Bloodborne 4th Elden Ring & Finally the 5th one Demon Souls which I might not enjoy because of the king of rings trophy
Since I got the plat doing endings in this order SHURA RETURN PURIFICATION and IMMORTAL SEVERENCE I can say playthroughs 1 and 2 were asswhopping but I did playthroughs 3 and 4 withing 4 days, finishing the 4th one in a day I even did the gauntlets SHURA and DIVINE HEIR for dem loot Plat was easier than expected bcuz I got gut so to everyone who says its nearly impossible to get this plat: GIT GUT
Sekiro is the best souls game that i have played(just my 1 souls game ever) it is a masterpiece from Fromsoftware! Here u must not only learn skils ,the game learn u to be a better shinobi in ur mind ( no rage moments, when yes u are already dead).Platinum trophy way was a perfect story of me as a player to better Shinobi ! :)
Don't be. I bought this game a two weeks ago after I platinumed Elden Ring almost two years ago. Now i'm already half way to platinuming sekiro. However, the difference is that Sekiro forces you to do NG+ for a few achievements which takes more time.
Man i quit going for plat like 2 yrs ago n im only 3 trophies away with 1 being the plat itself, i do plan to go back to it just idk when i just gtta finish skill trees n maxing 2 more of the arm abilities out with lazuli and then ill be done n have that plat
On my new account i managed to plat this game a second time with nearly half the estimated platinum time (30 hours instead of 60) and i was thinkinf about doing a permadeath playthrough one day
Hey bro I was wondering if you knew who the Demon of Hatred was? I know you didn’t show the story in the video but just in case if you didn’t know, it was the sculptor. That fight was supposed to be kinda sad but I too was screaming like you 😂
What game would you guys like me to platinum next?? :)
Elden Ring
Should be easier than this for you
Hmm I think it would be bloodborne
Alright I'm messing but there's a game called ghostwire tokyo ³/10 difficulty but it has a lot of items to collect
I mean it's not platinum but a sekiro randomizer would be dope
Hollow knight
Unpopular option: persona 5 royal

I was about to type out this exact comment. Getting the remaining skill points really was an absolute nightmare.
Have also done this, will agree
As someone who got it too I agree it must have been the most grinding I did to get trophy in my life
Indeed that trophy alone made it to where I didn’t get the platinum till three years later after already getting every other achievement💀
I had luck with that cause i messed up somewhere i had to do 4 playthroughs which was fine and i just had to grind an hour and did that in a loop but it still was annoying af xD
correction: i had to grind more on the temple for the lumps of fat you need for the prosthetics
This was my very first fromsoft plat and it’s still probably my favorite out of all of them.
hell yeah I love sekiro
i did elden ring before this and got platinum for both and i gotta say i enjoyed sekiro 10x mroe because of how fast the gameplay was
Wasn't my first one but def my favourite fromsoft game even more than Bloodborne
I am here, and despite what I've heard from other from Software games this will always be my favorite introduction.
I imagine how he would do against Inner Owl XD.
And the Shura ending isn't just sad, it's fucking terrifying.

This means the world had to deal with an imortal, unmatched monster that only lives to kill.
talking about terrifying in the ending owl has genichiros head in his left hand and then in the cutscene places the head besides isshins corpse.
This guy has a talent of winning a fight with 1 hp and no heals/res.
Sekiro is the first game I ever platinum. Bought it when it was released and took me 3 years to complete it. Definitely worth it.
Bruh 3 years?
3 years? I haven't been playing for 6 months and almost got plat
