Apliqué Bem: Brazil

At UPL, we work with farmers to foster a more sustainable agricultural system and ensure they are empowered to serve as guardians our environment. Apliqué Bem is one of our key stewardship programs in Brazil which promotes the responsible, efficient and safe handling of our products through knowledge transfer and capacity building. We are proud to share that Apliqué Bem has already trained more than 73,000 Brazilian farmers free of charge!
In line with our OpenAg purpose, we partnered with the IAC - Agronomic Institute to roll out Apliqué Bem across the country, including to rural workers. The successful implementation of Apliqué Bem has demonstrated that UPL’s stewardship programs are an effective way to boost incomes, reduce environmental impacts, and protect worker’s health.
