I am astonished by my results!!!!! I have accomplished my most detailed and sophisticated work under your instruction! !! Thank you so much! Hope you never have to stop!!
What is with you people who give thumbs down ? That is so stupid!! Did you add anything to the experience? No!! Yvonne is talented and sweet and fun. Go try to make something yourself instead of using this time to be snooty!!
Girl I just love you and your tutorials. So glad you have an amazing Randy. Enjoy your time together. I lost my Randy to cancer. You two make my heart happy.
Well, I will say it again: Vonnie, you are a master! This is NOT easy stuff, and you just whip through it with such clean lines! Amazo. I DID manage to finish one, incorporating the FABU CAB that I got from you - the amethyst, which I will be wearing with the labrodorite bracelet I made, and the ring. Whew. I am tired. It has taken me 2 full days to make this pendant. Gosh. I hope I get faster, or else I just won't be able to keep it up! I will say that this video is REALLY hard to follow when you get to the bail. The video is blurry on the close-up mode and I have tried to watch it on my phone, my kindle, and my laptop. I zoomed it and unzoomed it. I did full screen and part screen. Sometimes when you are refering to "this" wire or "that" wire, your hands are outside of the screen and I can't figure out for the life of me what you are doing and especially WHICH wire you are talking about because you aren't naming them. You are saying "this wire" but your hands aren't in the screen and none of it is in focus. I've been trying to pick through it for hours. Keep in mind this is my first bail in your style, so maybe the rest of these people have some experience with this style and don't have to think about it. I note that this video is a couple years old and I am hoping I can find another one that shows the construction of this type of bail. Also, you do mention that there is a way to patch it when you've accidently broken one of the thin wires, but you don't go into it. Well, I broke the small wire when I got the frame fully done and I had to do it all over again. I have lost SO many supplies with things that have not worked out! I had to start all over again with fresh wire, throw away the old wire, and slog through it,. I hesitated doing that, thinking that perhaps I should search and see if there was a video that showed me how to patch this pattern with fresh wire halfway through, but then I realized that I wanted to make one that does not have a broken spot, so I went ahead and just did the whole thing over again. Things DO get easier, I find, when I persist, and I intend to do that and can only hope that ONE DAY I'll get close to your perfection. Thanks so much for this tutorial. GREAT design!
This is lovely. I like the concept that "if it doesn't catch on fire, it's okay". I can so work under those parameters. At almost 65 years if age I hope to be as good a wire-wrapper as you when I grow up. I've got all the supplies, just trying to get the nerve up. Still, nothing ventured, nothing gained, so I may as well jump in with both feet. As a dear employer once advised me, "when you're unsure of a step you are about to take, ask yourself 'what's the worst that could happen?' " If, as you say, it doesn't catch on fire and nobody dies, then go for it. I will heed this advice and jump in! Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us wannabes. Take care, stay well.
Sat down at 1:00 est and was elated to find the beginning of a live feed. . .until 1:07 when my sister walked in the back door. But she brought homemade pasta primavera, So I'll just watch the replay with a happy tummy.
Great tutorial. Just a suggestion for keeping your work on camera - I’ve seen other UA-cam mentors do this - use some painters tape to mark where the camera frame ends so you’ll know where to keep your hands. Other than that, thanks! I’ve been trying to figure out how to wrap some thin cabs and I think this might be a good solution. Gonna have to make another one! 😊
Von you are just amazing, i love the work you do, you are just so happy lady and that make me happy too, keep up your brilliant work lots of love from the uk 🇬🇧 ❤
Just wanted to say thank you for thinking of us beginners. I have always admired wire wrapping thinking I would never be able to learn but your tutorials have been very inspiring. I have done some small projects. Again thank you, I look forward to more tutorials! Be blessed!
I absolutely love your videos, and find them extremely informative..love your generous, information providing personality...and your jewelry is among the prettiest I've ever seen!
I just finished this piece and I am so in love with it! Thank you so much for all your encouragement, inspiration and thoughtful instruction! You are awesome!
Thank you that you go all the way thru the whole piece. There are those of us with little confidence and this really helps. Plus a personal comment. You got me started on making cabs and now I am having a ball with polymer clay. Thank you for all the inspiration you give.
Every time I watch you wire wrapping my brain explodes! I can’t wire wrap to save my life. My eyes aren’t what they used to be but you always inspire me to keep trying. This piece turned out beautiful. I’d like to try this with the glass cabs you sent for Pateron. ❤️ They are so beautiful and I’d like to be able to do something nice to show off all the hard work you put into making them. I just stare at them because they make me so happy! 😘
Love this design, I would have never thought of making a bail like that, just spectacular. Just finished my frame, just need to do the webbing. Not as perfect as yours but still very nice. Very well made video and easy to follow. When I did the cross over on the bail, I took one of Lily-Tree's trick, I just switch the weaving wires from their original base wire, just another way of doing it ;) I was a Patreon of your channel some time ago but I only had a certain budget and I wanted to spread it around to other UA-camrs that helped me in my jewelry making journey. So happy for you guys to have found a solution for all your Patreon troubles. I will pledge again in October and can't wait to create pieces using your beautiful cabochons. You guys are awesome ;)
I am new to watching you. You do AMAZING WORK! More complicated than i would ever have patience for but love that you are so detailed and explain things so well! I was excited today to see you do a beginner’s video!! I would enjoy some more of those or some simple things occasionally for those of us not as talented as you. AND....i would be interested in seeing pieces you have for sale!
I love this design, thank you soooo much Von xx I've only started watching you recently and you are the cutest talent on UA-cam... I've got some beautiful Moss Agates on the way and this is a perfect design to show them off, thank you xoxoxox over and out from Scotland (UK)
Moss agates? I've never heard of those. I bet they're gorgeous! I follow a UA-cam channel Northern Mudlarks where a mother & daughter collected agates on the River Cheviot in Northumberland. They collect the most beautiful things!
This is stunning. I’ve been following along with you as I made it. The bail is so unique. I love it. Especially LOVE the suspension. I have some laboradites that will look awesome. I love he fact that it can be worn both ways. I’m interested in your glass cabachon making, are you doing any videos on this?
I have never worked w/ titanium before. I don't really know anything about it. I thought it would be really hard, but it looks quite pliable. Does it work harden easily, or is it the same as dead soft copper?
Hello Yvonne, I love your creativity, you help me expand my imagination. I'm a little confused on when to use Metallic wire versus silver platted wire. which is better for pendants or bracelets and the proper gauges that would make the process a lot easier. Trying to purchase different types of wire to work with, I am very heavy handed and my projects get all mushed up, your input would be greatly appreciated. thank you
Would 20 gauge be okay to use instead of 18 gauge for the base wire maybe? What would be the difference? I only have 20 gauge and 26 gauge at the moment 😅
Your response made me laugh. 😂 I was thinking it was going to be more like a horror show for me and my lack of talent......but maybe a comedy for anybody that would see it. Haha. I also thought..I'll just probably make one...INTO A NECKLACE because doing 2 exactly alike like for tiny earrings...well that would be the horror scene. Until I got better......hope...hope...hope.

Hello Yvonne,
Do y'all make different size glass cabs?
Beautiful ❤️🇩🇰
What kind of rope is wound? What color it?
Hi from Glasgow x
Folded piece of leather belt will straighten your wire as well😁
oooo! That is brilliant!!
@@backtoearthcreations lm learning from you as well. Knowledge needs to be passed on imho. Thanks for sharing.
How do you keep your wire wrapped jewelry from tArnishing
hey I think ive been missing shop giveaways lately.
Awaiting live Von 27 minutes
Looks like I got the time wrong, you've got most of it done.
It's a beautiful design, but wrapping the stone in place that way kind of ruins it.
Oh no... This takes skill. My first video attempt is going to be a comedy.
