This piece is a not a Chinese watercolor miniature, as the performer would want it, but a thunderous, dynamic, Spanish romantic piece. This musician has a potential, but his perception of this piece is too strongly influenced by his Far Eastern musical mindset.
But I want to be Korean watercolor rather than Chinese watercolor if you are okay^^ thanks for the comment

I have a great admiration for musicians and I usually refrain from making critical comments when I know that the performer could read them.There are and and there have been lots of very talented Korean musicians: violinists, pianists, and even guitarists who excelled in international competitions (like Kyuhee Park). As far as this piece, I cannot find a better example than this performance by a Vietnamese performer, Thu Le: ua-cam.com/video/eSWLZVsdZgk/v-deo.html. Your rendition requires a faster tempo, and more vigor; a martial arts training may help you gain the required stamina. Watch Rafael Aguirre -- this young man had such an energy that he could almost break the instrument.

There could be countless emotional spectrums upon a 'professional' musician and all is worth respectable unless one makes a half-assed attemp for a performance.

@@HappySKOTOP I meant that performers could be influenced by the musical folklore of their native place. It is something perfectly normal and understandable, however, most classical performers rid themselves of such influences, because of their academic formation. As far as the "emotional spectrum", that should be restricted according to the piece of music and the composer's intentions. There is "expression", and there is "exaggeration", and many performers, even among the big and famous often cross the boundary between these two.

Well, I like Bream's play best for this particular piece. Nothing else for me. But I would think over why this musician, who has achieved such a lot of professional careers as well as intensive academic background, plays like that; what's inside in it; what he wants to convey. Like or not is totally dependent on a personal preference then. But still his somewhat unique playing of this particular piece has nothing to do with his geographical backgound. I believe you will be with me once you listen to his othet performances.
Thu le is a well known great guitarist with no doubt, yet I wouldn't dare post her performance of the same piece on my 'advisory' comment.
