Pierre Willimann, guitarist and composer, plays Andante and Rondo, op.2 n.2 by the great Dionisio Aguado. Pierre was born in Geneva, Switzerland in 1990 and has French and Swiss nationalities. Also graduated from HEC in economics, he obtained his bachelor's degree in 2015 and his master's degree in 2017 from the Haute école de musique de Genève, studying with the great Serbian-born American composer Dušan Bogdanović.
He won prizes and special prizes in many guitar and classical music competitions including the Concours International de la ville d'Antony, the SYMC Swiss Youth Music Competition, the Concours d'Excellence de Paris...
As an electric guitar player, he toured with blues, rock, and metal bands in most European countries. As a classical player, he is regularly invited to international festivals, especially in Europe and South America.
Pierre is currently sharing his time between two countries, teaching at the Conservatoire de l'Ouest Vaudois in Morges, Switzerland, and doing a guitar performance doctorate at the UFRGS of Porto Alegre, Brazil.

We also recorded pieces for many great composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Astor Piazzolla and Isaac Albeniz (Asturias).
