I know Elton John said once in an interview that he thought that nothing else matters was a really beautiful piece of music, and it made James Hatfield cry with pride
Right on😊
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💯🥰🥰🥰😎
Enter Sandman will always be near and dear to my heart. That beginning of the song, perfection. I honestly think all their live concerts are amazing. I am going to one in August, super excited!
you're so lucky
My favorite intro to any track ever! So much power.
Me too w my 13 year old daughter who is a huge Metallica fan
I find your take on crowds singing to be fascinating! When I think of concerts, the crowd singing along is a vital part of the experience. You can hear the vocalist fine regardless, it just adds that other layer to have fans passionately singing along
If you love this song, you might also like The Unforgiven and Wherever I May Roam. Metallica has evolved so many times, seemingly on each album, and the Black album has a very particular style so I think you'd actually like the entire thing.
When you go to concerts, you'll very likely hear a lot of people singing in the audience. Almost guaranteed 😊
If they wernt. They didnt know the words but still loved the music. :) I seen them in 1993 i was 16 then i learnt this song on the guitar
@@epoh8698I saw them in ‘96. I was 17 and it was a graduation present from my aunt. Great time was had by all!
@@angelabordack Nice' yes wonderful memorys :)
And it sucks! I paid to hear the band... Not some nobody drowning them out!
@@BritIronRebel agree 100 percent it's become too much and on too many songs
The Day that Never Comes!! 😎👍
Singing along is all part of the Rock concert culture. These gigs are notoriously Loud and crowd participation is almost compulsory. Your smile as the second guitar joined in was good. It shows how much your getting into good rock music.
This song helped my wife and I get through some shit early in our marriage. Sounds a little corny, but it's true.
My first Metallica concert was in 1987, seen them many times since. I don't go to big concerts anymore, but the memories of those times are amazing.
Not corny at all.. This song hits different and if you Completely Understand it then you're on the right track my friend 🙏😎🙏😎🙏🙏💯
I love this song, after so many years I still get goosebumps and teary eyes
4:45 a whole lot of black reactors have noticed this, a whole lot of them have expressed a desire to go to their first rock concert, and a few have actually gone. Go! You will feel the love. I've yet to see a reactor regret it.
Go to the show. Promise you'll have a great time. I've been to more rock and metal concerts than I have time to list, including Metallica multiple times.. Black folks being there may not be obvious in videos, but they are there. There have been black people at every concert I've ever been to, and they were treated no different than anyone else. Everyone is there for the music and don't have time for bullshit drama. GO! I've never been to a bad Metallica show. I wish I could say the same for Guns-N-Roses lol.
You have not truly lived until you have seen Metallica live in concert and I've been blessed to see them many times..life changing! ❤ And NO they NEVER disappoint!
Awesome reaction Brother 👊. Metallica - The Day that Never Comes🔥 Live Nimes France HD. You won't be disappointed 🤘💯🎙️🎸
Elton John was quoted in saying that Nothing Else Matters is one of the greatest songs ever written....period!
I WAS HAVING AN AWFUL WEEK, BUT NOW WITH THIS THIS SONG, WITH THIS PARTICULAR VERSION, I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER. THANKS MY FRIEND FOR REACTING TO THIS LIVE PERFORMANCE!!!! 🤘🏼🎶
This is by far the Best song and when you truly understand the lyrics and meaning it Really hits the True One.. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💯💯💯💯😎
No, you are not wrong. This is one of best pieces of music ever written...
You would like Guns N' Roses & Metallica live in Mosco. Over 1.6 million people! It's a thing of unbelievable performances we'll never get to see!!, best guitarist & also live
performance ever!!!..
Polo, don't worry, I'm 60 and I'm immature also.... AND you noticed the dope hat on that particular female! Nice! Metallica is the GOAT of present - day rock music! I've seen them a couple times, and they didn't disappoint!!
The version of Nothing Else Matters with the San Fran orchestra was my wedding song. ❤
The first concert I ever saw was the tour for this album in 1996 at McNichols arena in Denver. I’ve seen Metallica 5x total. Always a great show.
Edit: check out Blackened, And Justice for All, master of puppets, one, welcome home, orion
Hey Josh. He did some great reviews on a few of those already. Go take a look!
@@PhraterOx I’m sure he has. He asked for fan favs to react to. Those are mine 😎
This was also my 1st real rock concert. Wish I was in the pit, but I was way on the side up in the back. Still could hear it, so all good. Rock out wif yo sok out
New Metallica IF DARKNESS HAD A SON. You will love it Polo
You know you are really adorable! I love your open minded approach to music💜
"One" is my all time fav Metallica song, but honestly you should check out the S & M concerts. Symphony & Metallica go sooo well together!!😁
Hay there, my first video i see from you. And you have so a beautiful relaxing voice. I could hear your voice for hours ❤
Saw them way back in 2006in South Africa🇿🇦Was an amazing show. Loved them since the 90's
“if my mother had put a guitar in my hand at a young age, I’d still have hair.” love it. :-)
Peter Frampton enters chat-
"Akchuuaally....."
I have been listening to Metallica since the late 80's
Please pick any song from the S&M album, it's Metallica playing all there hits live with the San Francisco sympathy orchestra. Absolutely amazing.
You need to watch the live version in Seattle in 1993 where James is sitting on the stairs. It’s fantastic
Love this song. So many great bands back then. You love the whole album not just a song. Seen alot of thwm live. One of my favorite things to do. Smile ear to ear the whole time lol
Bro the joke about the guitar letting you keep your hair had me cracking up! 🤣
Think they where at the Rome Coliseum?!?!? Been to a lot of concerts but Metallica live is unbelievable. They are spot on and feel the vibe. You have to go to one.
THE MEMORY REMAINS
If not already, you should react to Enter Sandman Live in Moscow. It is an amazing experience!
The Day That Never Comes, Polo. 🎉
They are the best to ever do this🤘
sometimes the crowd singing makes the track even better. here's a few examples:
Sabaton - En Livstid I Krig (Live - The Great Tour - Gothenburg) .. It's in Swedish, so turn the subtitles on
Megadeth - Symphony of Destruction (Live in Argentina)
Blind Guardian - The Bard's Song & Valhalla - Live at Wacken Open Air 2016
you have to hear the day that never comes live
The concerts I go to there are many black people there.. My rockin folks embrace all people!!!
4:45 Haaa! I'm glad the crowd didn't point all their right hand fingers towards the ceiling
One ft. The San Francisco Orchestra - Live is Amazingly Good
6:31 very dope hat indeed. It deserved a longer pause.🙃
Awesome reaction, definitely react to fade to black, unforgiven, enter sandman, sad but true, where I may roam and my personal favorite is from whom bell tolls.
Live vetsion of "for whom the bell tolls". With the basist lead-in
I’m 63 and until about a year ago I wasn’t “allowed” to listen to Metallica. I’m now so into listening/watching them. Their music is incredible. I’m not always thrilled with the lyrics but the instrumentals are amazing! When you react to one of their songs you really should find a live video. The way they entertain the fans is epic!!
The 80's were awesome! I came of age in the 80's and there was never a better time.
3/31/23 they drop their new song, “ 72 Seasons”. I’d also highly recommend “Lux Æterna “ and If Darkness had a Son” also from the upcoming album “72 Seasons”
Try checking out the live version of Enter Sandman from 1991 in Moscow. Talk about a huge crowd and high energy. They say it was about 1.6 million people.
Doesn’t get much better than that. 🔥 bro.
@Polo - you should check out Hearts tribute to Led Zeppelin for Kennedy Center Honors( Stairway to Heaven). Besides Anne Wilson one of the most underrated female rock vocalists it’s One of the best covers I heard of this song.
This was me and my husband’s first dance song at our wedding
Sounds like an awesome wedding 😊
I love this song. It is a perfect song to sing to the fans, because they wrote it to the fans.
thank you for doing Metallica
My friend of Misery live Melbourne. James conducts the audience!
Great choice for a live song. Feel better
I absolutely love Metallica, one of the OGs that got me into music. This is no slant at all on Metallica, but since getting into Tool it really does change my perspective on things
🤘🤘🤘LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOO. They are amazing Live. Can’t wait to see them again.
The Unforgiven is another badass Metallica song
You literally can't go wrong with anything from the first 5 albums but some of the ones you haven't done yet that are incredible even amongst Metallica song
1. Creeping Death (Probably their most greatest song. The live version Seattle 1989 is incredible)
2. One
3. For Whom The Bell Tolls
4. Battery
5. Welcome Home(Sanitarium)
6. Disposable Heroes
7. Blackened
8. Harvester of Sorrow
9. Sad but True
10. The Thing That Should Not Be
There should be more but that is a great list to start with.
Fade to Black for sure.
You should check out Metallica with the symphony doing Outlaw Torn.
Good Metallica songs. Funny Tool and Metallica my 2 favorite Bands. Fade To Black, Orion. Master of Puppets, Creeping Death, Trapped Under ice, Ride the lightning, Disposable Heroes, Battery, Blackened, And Justice for All, that is just to start off the top of my head.
Studio version of
The Four Horsemen
With lyrics, it paints a picture and will be a roller coaster.
I promise...
My first concert ever was Metallica in Berlin back in 2003… Left a deep impression, nothing can beat the experience of „Nothing else matters“ live 🥰
We all need support
Anything from the 1999 S&M concert. Maybe Ktulu, maybe Puppets, or maybe even Hero of the day
Hi Polo, I Know you would love "until it
Sleeps" by Metallica. The original video!!
It's an absolute Banger !! 💥💥!!
Hope you're feeling better POLO and......... Nothing Else Matters 🙂😏 *Edit, this is an Amazing Live version 😳👍🔥*
The Day that Never Comes! Where’s your Crown King Nothing! The UnForgiven 1 and 2!
Fade to Black, Sanitarium, Orion, Master of Puppets, battery, four horseman
Had several guy friends, at our wedding, sing this song to us. It was Epic!! Such a great song!! Big Metallica fans here.
Enter Sandman and Master of Puppets are my favorite Metallica songs.
If u like emotional guitar solos like this I recommend
The Who "Pinball Wizard"
The Beatles "She's So Heavy"
Eric Clapton "Layla"(I know you reacted the acoustic version tho the electric guitar version is one of the best songs ever.)
If you were there live you would be singing too! It just happens. And believe me the band is loud enough to still hear them. And seeing James’ face light up when the audience sings too is priceless.
Try either Mama Said or Outlaw Torn. Both from the album Load which is highly underrated and actually hated by some but I love it. Fun fact outlaw torn is one of James Hetfeilds favorite songs.
Mama Said is a favorite! I keep holding out hope that they'll play it live one day.
So many great Metallica songs, but this one is my favorite! ❤
POLO REACTS Suicide & Redemption is a really great newer Metallica song. It reminds me of their older stuff, before Cliff was gone
Sad but True
I am so happy that more black people are getting into metal. I listen to lyrical rap and Metal mostly. Older stuff and some new stuff. Joyner Lucas is one of my favorites for newer lyrical rap. White people listen to rap so it makes sense black people listen to metal. They go hand in hand. ❤💕
Very nice... Some of my favs are, One, Master of puppets, Orion, Call of Ktulu.
I went and saw them I'm pretty sure 4 years ago!! OMG!!🤘 I LOOOOVED THEM!!!🤗😍 I don't knw if you've reacted to their song "ONE", But it's BY FAR the greatest!!!
I also wanna suggest that you react to their "FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS"!!!😃🤘
Yeah that hat was glorious…
Orion is a must hear polo. Gotta do that one.
I’ve seen DMB 9 times. We always sing.
Fuel
If you love the style and vibe of this live performance, than you should watch Fade to Black live from Lincoln, NE. It’s a a amazing song with a great live performance. Highly recommend!
There are bands you know their tracks, but when you listen to metal? Wether it's Metallica, Megadeath, Slayer, Maiden? Their tracks mean something to you! They're telling you a story.
Have never heard this by Metallica but it is tremendous! Also loved your reaction to it- full of respect and appreciation for their artistry. Since you love intensity and perfection, please react to Dan Vasc's "Amazing Grace". It is otherworldly!! 🌌
"That's a dope hate" Yeah we know what you were lookin at
If you want another viewpoint of how Metallica's concerts go, try their "Seek and Destroy" in a live setting, but be aware it's a thrash track. Or for another offbeat one, that few people recommend? "Of Wolf and Man" from the Black album!
Do the Unforgiven 1,2 and 3 in order. Look the meaning behind them up on song facts too. It will definitely hit you in the feels for what James went through
Metallica's No leaf clover featuring San Francisco orchestra
I'd recommend checking out the songs "King Nothing" and "Bleeding Me" very powerful songs
Hey Polo hope your feeling better. Metallica built there reputation on playing live. I'm more of a fan there older catalog. But I've enjoyed watching your reviews. I've become more of a fan of yours. Hopefully you can watch a live concert. Live music is the essence to your soul. Rock on.
of the ones you havent done, the day that never comes
Bro also watch queens live preformerence for live aid that interaction between the crowd and queen is heart touching.
This request I have for you may not be in their top 10 but man I really love the speed metal of Ride the Lightning!🤟👍
You should check out when they performed with the SF symphony. Cheers Polo🎉
It was amazing I reacted to it
if you are looking for another metallica song you have to do call of ktulu, no singing just a pure masterpiece
Love this song! Probably my favorite Metallica song. ❤ Check out the Unforgiven and Sad But True.
