The fact they added a a win/lose announcement at the end of the match is an element DBD lacks. Helps close that gap of feeling like you failed as a survivor just because you died and gets rid of that solo mentality.
I've seen the movie at least 500 times since 1988 and still watch it often.

Only thing going for it was the design, but that’s typical of Italian cinema.
Watch Hollyweird make a reboot of this. They already rebooted Poltergeist, Road House, Karate Kid, hmmm what else Terminator??

This game is more like Friday the 13th gameplay wise! Highly recommend as it has the same charm but a little different

These games are always so incredibly fresh at the very beginning, but fall off fast. Only DBD has really managed to keep it going
got 10 hours on this game so far and its the best dbd/friday the 13th game ive ever played its fun asf and when ur dead u can play mini games to help teammates.
Hopefully they have npc challenges or a single player story experience. I’ll buy instantly but that’s just me being greedy. Looks cool

If it runs and plays better than Friday The 13th and the Predator game, I'm game. Love the movie since childhood and it does look fun, but knowing how trigger-happy Illfonic is closing games down gives me some worries.

The problem with asymmetrical horror games: killers are never strong enough.
Almost all of these games heavily favor the survivor role. You shouldn't be getting away almost ever. Killers need to be over powered otherwise there's nothing to fear. If someone is trying to kill you, you're not going to intentionally find them just to troll them. These games always seem to lose their "horror" feel within a few weeks once everyone figures it out. You shouldn't be taunting someone trying to end your life and that's the biggest flaw of this genre. As a "survivor" you should feel helpless and panicked. None of these games ever seem to get it right. Friday the 13th had it right by making it possible to die the instant Jason grabs you. People need to get over this need to win and actually enjoy a real horror experience for what it is.

Disagree. It should be killer favored, but not lopsided towards the killer. Both sides want to have fun. Surviving shouldn’t be impossible to do, bc if it is then no one is gonna play your game lol. You want that type of game, play DBD, where killer has faster movement speed then survivors. It should be 55 killer/45 survival, NOT 80 killer/20 survival

How many people who see this game are old enough to have watched the movie? Besides me. Also looks fun... but why is this coming out 36 years after the movie? Whoever made this must be OLD and I'm in my 40s.
Texas chainsaw and evil dead are even older and they came out in the last year, not sure what to tell you bud. Its not that weird.

@BigJackHorner2023 KK has a bigger cult following than many know. Whether that's enough to sustain the game is yet to be seen, they're all B movies.

really think Dead By Daylight should go the Fortnite route with developers making games-within-the game for dbd. Imagine playing this from within DBD. Instead of having a dwindling playerbase that will certainly die within a couple months, u can share and grow the already existing playerbase within DBD.
