I have a recomendation for a game with beautiful ambience, sea of theives. It is availible on pc and xbox. There are lots of places to record said ambience here are my recomendations. Smugglers bay(on the bridge), on the players ship(you could make a couple there,upper deck,lower deck captains quarters etc), ship of the damned(you go there after you die),in one of the taverns,outside in the outpost islands,morrows peak outpost,by the beaches etc. There is alot of potentiential ther and, i thing your audience would like it.
