East side Indy market fighting to keep its doors open

The Indy Fresh Market opened in the fall of 2023 and is struggling to keep up with big chains. Neighbors hope the store can remain, so the area doesn’t become a food desert.

Prior to this store there was the Walmart Neighborhood Market. It's sad to see the area caused it's food demise.
