you think? to be honest, i don’t really like them. usually EE is really good with their videos but these lyric videos are kind of ugly. the backgrounds look cheap and gaudy. Kind of a shame because the music is so banger
This song is haunting. It reminds me of civilian casualties. The phrase of someone standing up in school and bursting to flame. There was a blinding light. The phrase "how would i know if I wasn't there" brings to mind willful ignorance from the side causing harm. The child laughing along with the somber hum. It's intense.
Hi! I love how this song reminds you of that. I think it’s actually about the singers experience on the mountain that the filmed the videos on. Lyrics such as ‘too much for the bodies of man’ and ‘there were many eyes’ suggest that. The bodies of man part being about how hard it is to climb a mountain as a human and the many eyes part about how many creatures live on the mountain like bats. I agree, it’s a very intense song, but it’s probably my favourite on the album.
this is like Christmas eve in my family when we were allowed to open 1 gift in advance ... except that in this case, it seems that the gifts keep coming !! been lookin' forward to this ever since hearing cold reactor during your recent Oct stop in Boston
just finished all the songs. this is the first time I witness the release of an EE album and I am very happy.
Same here! Bought all the vinyls last year and feeling so damn proud of the release experience.
Same
And this, kid, is how you conclude an album
So good
Weird no one has mentioned it, but they also did a fantastic job with the videos
Think everyone's too infatuated by the incredible music to realise
