@@no_name_for_no_one7466 the Jonestown massacre happened in 1978. It was from a cult led by Jim jones. I don’t know everything but I do know that in 1978 he made all his cult followers move to a country in South America, where he gave a speech eventually making children drink cyanide. After he made all the parents commit suicide and then he shot himself. A massacre of over 900 people. There’s even a UA-cam video that’s basically a recording of the whole speech. The lyrics "But honestly I've never had much sympathy Cause the next time they'll probably be coming for me." for some reason feels like it has a deeper meaning
After listening to it i think I get it. The first time it says " Honestly I've never had much sympathy cause those bad things always saw them coming for me." Meaning your running from what you know is coming and than you see what your running from gets someone else leading to the next part "But Honestly I've never had much sympathy cause the next time they'll probably be coming for me" creating a cycle not knowing if what you were running away from is still after you and not knowing if its there until it happens or get to someone else who wasn't aware they should've been running or stopped running. From the person who's running away perspective you can become numb if you see the cycle constantly repeating making it "hard to have sympathy".
I see it as, I don't have sympathy cuz when u get that traumatised from such a evil all u know is pain and beyond a higher lv of ptsd and fear alone. And she porting how she has to run from such an evil cuz evil comes for you, and the only thing you can do is run instink u gotta GO, evil.

I literally can’t sleep cuz this fucking song is stuck in my damn head so I’m trying to get it out
Love this song❤❤❤😍😍
Am I out of my head?
Am I out of my mind?
If you only knew the bad things I like
Don't think that I can explain it
What can I say? It's complicated
Don't matter what you say
Don't matter what you do
I only wanna do bad things to you
So good (so good), that you can't explain it
What can I say? It's complicated (ayy)
Nothing's that bad (that bad)
If it feels good (feels good)
So you come back (come back)
Like I knew you would (knew you would)
And we're both wild (both wild)
And the night's young (night's young)
And you're my drug
Breathe you in 'til my face numb
Drop it down to that bass drum
I got what you dream 'bout
Nails scratchin' my back tatt
Eyes closed while you scream out
And you keep me in with those hips
While my teeth sink in those lips (yeah)
While your body's giving me life
And you suffocate in my kiss
Then you said
I want you forever (ayy)
Even when we're not together (ayy)
Scars on my body so I can take you wherever, like (ayy)
I want you forever (ayy)
Even when we're not together
Scars on my body I can look at you whenever, uh (yeah)
Am I out of my head?
Am I out of my mind?
If you only knew the bad things I like
Don't think that I can explain it
What can I say? It's complicated
Don't matter what you say
Don't matter what you do
I only wanna do bad things to you
So good, that you can't explain it
What can I say? It's complicated (damn)
I can't explain it (ayy ayy, can't explain it)
I love the pain (love the pain)
And I love the way your breath
Numbs me like Novocaine
And we are (ooh)
Always high
Keep it strange
Okay, yeah, I'm insane
But you the same
Let me paint the picture, uh (yeah)
Couch by the kitchen, ayy (yeah)
Nothin' but your heels on
Losin' our religion (mmh)
You're my pretty little vixen
And I'm the voice inside your head
That keeps telling you to listen to all the bad things I say
And you said
I want you forever (ayy)
Even when we're not together (ayy, we're not together, yeah)
Scars on my body so I can take you wherever, like (ayy)
I want you forever (ayy)
Even when we're not together (oh, whoa)
Scars on my body I can look at you whenever, uh (yeah)
Am I out of my head?
Am I out of my mind?
If you only knew the bad things I like
Don't think that I can explain it
What can I say? It's complicated
Don't matter what you say
Don't matter what you do (yeah)
I only wanna do bad things to you
So good, that you can't explain it
What can I say? It's complicated
The way we love is so unique (ayy, ayy)
And when we touch, I'm shivering
And no one has to get it
Just you and me (right)
'Cause we're just living
Between the sheets (you said)
I want you forever (ayy)
Even when we're not together (ayy, yeah)
Scars on my body so I can take you wherever, like
I want you forever (ayy)
Even when we're not together (real talk) (oh, whoa)
Scars on my body I can look at you whenever, uh (yeah, oh, baby)
Am I out of my head?
Am I out of my mind? (Am I?)
If you only knew the bad things I like (if you only knew)
Don't think that I can explain it (yeah)
What can I say? It's complicated (yeah)
Don't matter what you say
Don't matter what you do (do, do)
I only wanna do bad things to you (yeah)
So good, that you can't explain it (so good, oh, baby)
What can I say? It's complicated

1:55 it honstly sent some chills down my spine
"but honestly I've never had such sympathy cause those bad things, always saw them coming for me"
I relate sm
Maybe you relate with some lyrics, but no it doesn't this song was based off of the "Jonestown Massacre" nearing the end of the song you can start to hear some of the chilling tape that was played in the background. This wasn't a massacre but, instead a cult. Jim Jones who was the cult leader made these "mixed drinks" which contained cyanide. He promised they would go to a planet where he is still leader. He made sure the children drank it first so when they die the parents wouldn't have much to live for. 909 individuals lost their lives that day, 304 were children. Poor innocent children. Jim later shot himself. This incident was known as a "revolutionary suicide"...
Music seeps into everything. I actually kind of liked this too. But I remember hearing about that story and now I'll always remember this as that. That's crazy. I knew... Before I even knew tho 🥴. Like I really had no clue what this was about. I was just guessing. Plus, It really has that vibe. Kind of similar to those girls jumping rope on Freddy. But rip to them. I could never. Be in a damn cult. I guess in this exact scenario, I can't really sympathize tho
If someone is wondering where the kids screams are the time to check is 2:22 and go to 2:15 to hear the whole scream
In jesus name claim energy protect us in all of us in Philippines of this song AMEN🙏

it’s about a mass suicide

This song always reminds me of when I found out my mother was going to die and I knew it. Indescribable.
This song reminded me of the time ive made a mistake and ive lost myself to sins when a love one died, ive felt like my life was on autopilot and ive watched the story of martin luther the priest, and it changed my life and started being happy again in life, theres this verse on the bible where it says that the pain wont last forever it will eventualy be gone.
