If you compare the price of ticket it's almost double/triple in difference. Only in single screen his movies will collect the money as much as the movie of other heroes who will get good response in multiplexs. Also through his movies only box office hit concept came in Kannada film industry. This is the reason why Kannada people call him box office Sultan.

In South they will going every fortnight. (2) In the first week Tickets are priced mostly 100 to 300 in North vs 30 to 100 in South. (3) Even if there is recession North always trying to save money while South is trying to spend the money which indirectly helps the local economy. (4) There are more number of single screen theatres in South than North because of the craze for films the do not run on loss. (5) Fan Associations help in South to create a social media hype before the film releases and book tickets enmasse to make it a success. While in North such fan associations are less.

When Bollywood was making fims about pretty faces playing hide and seek around trees, south was making serious pathbreaking cinema. South (especially Telugu industry) was making visual effects based movies during the black and white and eastman color era even though we had limted budget and market when bollywood chose to make cliched dramas (basically music videos) with heavy urdu poetry which was 90% of the time just senseless poetry jumbling around words like "pyar" "mohabbat" "ishq" "tere naina" "sanam". We south indians aren't so good at marketing.
🤣🤣🤣 What Telugu industry now a days they doing? They also put some hindi or urdu words in their songs. Not a single South industry use any hindi or urdu words except Telugu industry which started that thing and secondly kannada industry using them.. I'm from tamil nadu. I watch movies more than 20 languages. According to me the good film must resemble the native, culture, logic and audience have to feel " yeah it's happening in front of my eyes" otherwise it should be a tight scripted action, thriller( physiological or crime ).
On that basis malayalam films are the best. In tamil atleast 4 to 5 good movies coming in a year. Surprisingly kanada films also improved very progressively. Telugu, they r fine but still they have to come out of some masala elements........
But in bollywood (even some north indians too), not embracing r culture rather trying to act like western people. (No offence )..........

When else bollywood will stop showcasing south indians as rugged, nerd/comedians/crappy character in your movies?....why such racism towards south!!!..... Hey dude just grow up....indian economy is mainly depends on south states.... You guys enjoying infrastructure and schemes due to the income generated by south states.... Many literate and scholars are from south states....... Bollywood is simply a dustbin filled with racism,groupism,nepotism....... 97% bollywood movies were filled with glamour and adult comdies.... Question to my North Indian friends....how come you guys watch those movies with your family????.....or else your culture reflects the same what shown in bollywood movies.....!!!!.........
