      Great video, thanks! I’m a beginner who (obviously) plays lots of beginners online. As such, I almost never encounter the intuitive c5, but get almost universally get e5 instead - probably because beginners are way more used to moving that pawn in the beginning of the game. This leads to me frantically rushing to prevent the fork on e4. I feel like I’m suddenly a move behind, even though I’m playing white! Any advice on how to manage this?

      ​@@jmgerraughty i think try to learn 2 or 3 simple lines and openings first.. d4 or knight f3 will be good to start and have a quite middle game for you now!!..
