I've been watching these videos for a while and never knew it was IM Jeremy Silman, the author of the only chess book i own... The complete book of chess strategy. It took me from 1150 rapid to 1670 peak in under 3 months. What a legend.
Well done!! keep improving with our chess family ✅
Eleventh 🤔🤓😏 NoT f'rst in coment section.
didnt found a variant to defend and correct GM in this video 😢
Yeah it s a video about attacking.. Just be carefull dont weak squares around your king.. Try to be accured !!. attacking is easier than defending so be carefull 💯✅
@@ChessGMs i m the one correcting you in this: ua-cam.com/video/myZNBAZn8vc/v-deo.html&lc=UgzudCENuk3pjfbwzBV4AaABAg.ACn4mB7oeJVAD2uzUZKQ53 answering: 23:47 epic blunder because 1. Kd7 - Rh7+ wins for black. Instead 1. Ra8+ - Kg7 2.Kd7 is the right move order
Watching your videos should get me ready to fight these ferocious battles of chess war but instead I feel like I've just come out of a Zen meditation where the only feelings you get is of total peace and I must say I love this feeling very much. P.s. All we hear elsewhere is: Win fast with....... which doesn't help me at all.
every time i see Silman's video posted,i act like flash to watch it.Whoever keeps posting these videos deserve all the blessings.Respect to Silman

Silman is a legend for a reason.
What's the difference between the chess expert and chess master tier?
@@Thanos-snap-feminism The difference between a chess expert and a chess master lies in their chess rating and playing strength. * Chess Expert: Typically refers to players with a rating between 2000 and 2199 on the United States Chess Federation (USCF) rating system. This places them in the top 5% of USCF tournament players. * Chess Master: This is a more general term and can have different meanings depending on the context. * USCF Master: In the USCF system, a Master is a player rated 2200 or higher. * FIDE Master (FM): This is an international title awarded by the World Chess Federation (FIDE). To earn this title, a player must achieve certain performance norms in rated tournaments and have a FIDE rating of at least 2300. Also there is different lvls of masters more like IM and GM. and that s the top!!
Great video. Thank you.
I suggest watching all parts in The Playlist : Masters thinking!! 💯✅

Depends on what the board says. According to Silman, a knight may be horrible or the bishops may be horrible. It depends on the board, which shows you all you need to know.
