    What's the difference between the chess expert and chess master tier?

    • @ChessGMs
      @ChessGMs 4 дні тому

      @@Thanos-snap-feminism The difference between a chess expert and a chess master lies in their chess rating and playing strength. * Chess Expert: Typically refers to players with a rating between 2000 and 2199 on the United States Chess Federation (USCF) rating system. This places them in the top 5% of USCF tournament players. * Chess Master: This is a more general term and can have different meanings depending on the context. * USCF Master: In the USCF system, a Master is a player rated 2200 or higher. * FIDE Master (FM): This is an international title awarded by the World Chess Federation (FIDE). To earn this title, a player must achieve certain performance norms in rated tournaments and have a FIDE rating of at least 2300. Also there is different lvls of masters more like IM and GM. and that s the top!!

    Depends on what the board says. According to Silman, a knight may be horrible or the bishops may be horrible. It depends on the board, which shows you all you need to know.
