@@livingintacomawashington I think that's why the misconception lingers. The overcast for months straight can be very depressing. My vitamin D levels were so low.
High AF…. Literally can buy something, sell and leave in two years and turn a profit or rent and lose between 25-100k 🙃 in the same time period. Not to mention the WORST rental laws and protections. Oh don’t get me started 😂😂😂
youre not wrong there. You can get a pretty nice house here for 3k-3.5k. I have had people move here from LA and buy a house easily because they were spending upwards of 8k a month for a rental.
While the weather can really be an issue for some people on Winter, Spring and Summers are gorgeous and Fall is sooo pretty with all the leaves turning colors. I feel like the worst months are December/January and November/February can be gloomy too but not as bad as Dec/Jan in terms of gloomines. I love the culture and diversity of the city. Mt. Rainier on a clear day is a treat. Nature is really a big reason for someone to move to the PNW.
Insane and even with the new rent control laws, all land lords did was do a massive increase for new rentals or big increase ahead of laws to there current tenants
@@robertr6825 so true. I temporarily relocated to be closer to my mom, and it's much cheaper day to day here in the metro Atlanta area. If my family decides they don't want to stay in my old house anymore, I'm not sure if I'll keep it or sell it.

Where I am in Atlanta it rains more than my house in Tacoma
I hear that. I came from MO and the rain and snow put this place to shame! It’s a crazy misconception. There is a lot of grey though

No sales tax on food or medicine in WA is nice
That's only thing nice because you get charged massively for everything else
