'Urine-soaked and decrepit' describes San Francisco very well
Geez, I went to a Giants game this past week, in San Francisco. I walked a mile to where the Chase Center is. Didn't smell any piss anywhere, and no building I saw was decrepit. So, STFU!

I doubt you've ever been in SF, one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and I've been to quite a few, whether Sydney Australia or Paris, London or Lisbon. So, STFU!

When neighbors walk their dogs and stop them so they can urinate on my wooden mailbox post and on the grass that I work hard on keeping healthy, I asked them to have their dogs urinate on their own lawn and turn patches of their grass yellow and white because it kills the grass. I get looked at as if they don't even realize they're allowing their dog to pee and poop on other people's property.

To the Cafe owner: Mix Cayenne pepper in water, put it in a spray bottle, and spray around the base of the PGE box. Dogs will NOT stop to pee! I've done this at the base of a 4x4 post located along the sidewalk on our property. It was a regular pee spot for dogs. Not anymore -- not a single pee stain near it. 🚽 No more dog toilet problem, including my own dog, who used to leave his mark every day.

Those are not new. Temporary support to hold up the telephone junction box until permanent repairs can be made. That box is full of tiny gage wires carrying telephone and internet to all customers in the neighborhood. Would you like for the customers to loose their service in the meantime? Are you smart enough to figure out something better? In my city this happens when the boxes are close to the curb and get hit by a car.
Those are called "B boxes". The copper or fiber circuits from the central office go to these B boxes. Then the circuits fan out to every telephone subscriber in the neighborhood. If there is fiber-to-the-node service, the fiber cable from the central office ends at the B box and is then converted to copper wire circuits to the customer. B boxes are the responsibility for AT&T to maintain.

Not just that, in NYC the smell of urine is not uncommon, especially in the subway. The difference of course is San Francisco is actually trying to do something about it, through the addition of public restrooms and pet waste disposal stations, while New York isn't doing anything significant.
SF Dog owners and the deference people pay to them is crazy. Dog owners are totally irresponsible.

I am not a dog owner and don’t understand why the dog owners take their dogs pee at someone’s property but not pee at their own property. I have seen dog owners let their dog pee on the side of someone’s building. I feel that these dog owners are so selfish!
If someone does not have a property large enough for a dog = They shouldn't be allowed to have a dog!!

Dog pee will totally do that. I've had a chain link fence get corroded apart in the spot where the dog would go.

So gross having all these dogs all over the place pissing, pooping, tripping people, barking, off leash in the parks and beaches...they even go in stores and restaurants. People push them around in shopping cars in grocery stores!
I don't hate dogs but not real fond of them either and there are way too many. In better days dogs stayed at home.

Ain't that something, they're worried about the looks of it dogs keep peeing on it, now one mention not a single word to protect the animals in its owners. If an animal pees on this junction box and it has exposed wires that dog will become electrocuted if the owner has a metal chain around that dog that human holding that chain will also become electrocuted. What the hell happened to common sense. They're so interested in getting a story that they don't even take into account the human factor of lives not to mention the life of an animal. That one mention this new station needs new news reporters. Simple plain and simple. Lazy ass news reporters today unbelievable.
