This was one of my favorite videos of yours. Because I love the chat at the end about thredUP. You hit the nail on the head with me, because I send things into thredUP that I don’t want to list or sell myself. I started sourcing only higher end items, I live in a state where this is possible. Also I buy quality not quantity like I use to do when I first started reselling. I prefer that an item will sell for 30+ so I send items to thredUP like cinq a sept, a.l.c., Vince, Mac Duggal etc. so it really helps build my money to buy good boxes for selling online or to the real real. I look at this type of buying as keeping the stuff circulating on the planet. And I don’t cash my money out from thredUP. It is used to trade up, it is my online buy sell trade. And much like Plato’s, thredUP is not going to give you very much money for lower end items like ElizaJ, Zella, city chic etc payout from those types of items is only good enough to leave the money there and trade up for something better. I’m new to thredup so I’m confused- the mystery box came from them with stuff they didn’t want right, so you go through them and what you didn’t keep to sell or sent to your BST store you sent back to thredup? They didn’t want them in the first place didn’t they?
The ThredUp rescues are filled with both rejects and items that didn't sell within their consignment time frame with them. They can't always sell all of it for me - but they sell enough of what I send back to make it worth my time (and finance my mystery box addiction! Lol!). Thanks for watching❤️

🤞this is better. I'd still list that green dress based on style. If you can get a nice modeled or mannequin pic it sill can sell. I did not know TU didn't take jammies. Those pants are adorable. I'd keep those, not worth fixing to sell for sure, but I'd fix it for myself, it's a super quick fix. So weird, I picked up a sweater last weekend at a yard sale that was Naked Cashmere which I have NEVER heard of and there was just a commercial for that brand on your video. I wonder if everyone sees the same ads or are the targeted? I've had a NWT Madewell in my closet for almost 2 years. And it's adorable. Maybe in the Spring I should pick out a bunch of stuff and take a road trip to the Plato's in Henderson and see what happens, or finally go to Buffalo Exchange downtown. I never judge fit based on my mannequin. She's supposed to be a 10 but depending on the item, she can go as low as 2. She has a small waist, but her shoulders are bigger and she has a big butt. So I think mannequin size and human size are not so closely related. Nice to see so much NWT. Oh I would totally list that Hello Kitty dress no matter what. I think I"ve sold that Torrid blazer twice, not for a ton but worth listing. OMG those corduroy pants are amazing. I can hardly sell any FP but I'd still pick those up. Give that last Torrid size 0 a shot. Can't hurt. It does look very cute on you though. Never heard of that faux sweatshirt as a dickie. Did you make that up? I only know of the fake turtleneck dickies. I thought they ones they say they won't pay you for, they will sell but won't give you the money. Don't know anything about partner kits. IRS has backtracked again, so 1099 is not for $600 after all I believe. Is this comment long enough for you? LOL maybe it'll help your channel somehow.
Hi Elahnah! Google the Veronica Beard Dickie blazer. It’s a pricey blazer and you can buy dickies to change the look. Then when you find one at the thrift store- tell me first! lol! I believe ThredUp pays commission based upon the sale price and not the brand. I’m sure tank tops would net zero but I have been paid for mall brand sweaters, jeans and such. Not much- but it does add up. I don’t have much luck with Free People either - I take it to the BST - but I do try to sell the unique and funky pieces. Try Buffalo Exchange with the inventory you want to move out. They pay better than Plato’s. Give it at least 3 tries so you can get a feel for the store and what they are buying. I think you could do great there as you find lots of hip pieces and they love that. I think my response is longer! lol🤣♥️
There is nothing worse than a corrupt file 😢 my last box - 8/8 - took me days and days and I ended up screen recording it to make a new file. What a pain!!!
My tech is all outdated and I think Santa is hooking me up this year. It’s crazy frustrating - but I do think an upgrade is coming my way. Thanks for watching my friend ♥️
Hi Kelly, I for one am glad you get mystery boxes from Thred UP. I love a good mystery box. But I could understand if you had to stop if you weren't making money. After all, it's about making money. But if you can have some fun too, it certainly doesn't hurt. Saving things from the landfill is good, too. As always, I enjoyed the video.
