Damn! I suddenly remember playing the Do You Do cassette tape in the kitchen at home in March 1983. My grandmother came in and started singing along to Buttermilk Sky! Oh boy that's what I call education!
This was the first album that I worked on from start to finish with the legendary engineer Philip Begley in Lombard Studios in Dublin. What an incredible experience, and what an album. I have listened to it many times over the years, still one of my favs.
What a talent. He performed in the Coastguard art centre in Tramore last night ,and was superb. Long may you continue to perform and entertain Freddie.
Freddie is like a fine wine... just keeps getting better with age! I've always love his interpretations of others' songs... like Martha (Tom Waits), Licence to Kill (Bob Dylan), I have to say I think I like his versions better than the originals, so tastefully done.
Heard Freddie in The Great Southern Hotel Galway in the early 1980's, now my grandson, aged four, loves his album and 'Tenderness on the Block'
Damn!

Great stuff . Freddie is an awesome talent and it brings back great memories of the 80s
One of the best performers to interpret a song. Saw him many times in Kenmare!
He's a class act
