Disc and hpal, gonna be a challenge for me without instant radiance
I enjoy Holy Pala for its High APM and mechanics . Sad that they take down the Prism, but excited that I would be able to cast more often divine toll + daybreak.

This is imo the best video u made so far! I love the breakdown of the healers and the +/- 🔥💯👍 I feel the same about rshams CBT...If it isnt viable im not going to play it at all! Another thing id like is a bit more options for the class trees, especially for druids and shaman, but really all of them.And that is i dont like having to use extra points to have a decurse or magic dispell. I like healers having different things to dispell, but i would prefere that being baseline, so things like an interupt or not having to sacrifice important talents on weeks with say incorporeal 😊 Anyway AWSOME video!

I feel I am pretty good using CB, planning on using my Resto Shaman in 10.2. I currently plan to use a primordial wave & rip tide build. I plan to experiment with HST early on a well. Resto Druid will be my “back-up.”

My main is a Preservation Evoker, I like it's gameplay but it's frustrating that Augmentation steals our spot. Maybe can gear both specs and give a try to stick with Dracthyr or I just gear my Disc Priest
Only class ive played since wrath, Rshamm. Wish they would give us tier sets that let me decide how to play, rather than being funneled.

I am going to be mainlining Resto Druid next patch.
I've never been a big fan of Cloudburst totem, it was one of the reasons I tried out other healers when it first got introduced and became heavily meta/required.
The one I like and enjoy the most is the discipline, but my main character will probably be the druid, as I sometimes like to hit and tanky, so the discipline would be my second choice.
I got my priest and evoker ready and my monk in my back pocket. I’d love to just play evoker but I’m thinking it’s going to be another tier of Aug so we’ll have to see where it goes.
I love shaman but am scared about the resurgence nerf and not having rashok trinket. Hated the 10.1 tier set 10.2 looks almost as bad.
For shaman, I do enjoy playing with cloudburst. As far as tiers sets, I actually kind of like that usually our tier sets change our gameplay, to me it’s boring when the same builds roll over season to season.

Discipline priest feels really good on retail and even more so on ptr. Unfortunately not having a kick is so bad that I just can’t bring myself to play it. I thought prese tier set was going to be bad, but it gives so much free essence that you can play without TA in keys that it has to be prese for me. Not to mention it adds a pretty good amount of damage
CB totem feels great in some raid situations, where huge damage goes into the raid and you press raid CDs and push 2+ M of heal into the totem and pop it then, visibly pushing the whole raid up.
At the same time it is much less fun in a less intence situations, where there is not much to be healed, or other raid healers can press some buttons and you will face a raid with full HP and your CB goes into the air.
Then it feels better to just drop a healing stream + healing rain and do some damage or reactive healing.
So I'm going to use healing stream totem for M+ and I'll give a try to both in raids in next season :)
Nah bro - CBT all the way. As 3k rshammy, i'm telling you, CBT is huge. If you have timers on bosses in mythic plus, and you are seeing that, magmatusk for example, is doing a mutation in 20 seconds, then you pop cbt at 15 seconds, and then 3 seconds after that huge burst of damage has gone off, and the second tick is about to go off, cbt bursts and tops everyone up, it's huge dude, it's also a massive mana saver for the same reason.

I Know CBT is much better now. I am not sure it will still be that much better after the nerf and boost of Healing Streem.
I didn't test it on PTR so I will see when it arrives. But HS is easier to manage for sure, and I want to relax in the game from time to time :)
With cloudburst totem, Im not a fan. It is very good and low cooldown, but I hate having to depend on its healing at the end of its cooldown. Especially if your group is already topped off when it pops. You can manually pop it but if you're in a spot where you need it, it might not save you. It raises the skill ceiling but I'll take healing stream totem with 2 charges for ease.

I do love the resto shaman in its own right. The utility feels so great. I love taking care of interrupts. I will say the lack of oh-shits for the tank, always makes me a little nervous. It does feel annoying in high mobility situations. Also, yeah.. the tier set was/is annoying.
Whether I cloudburst totem or not depends on the content. Absolutely for raids, of course. But people need to take a lot of damage for it to be worth it in dungeon content. My alt shaman slumming it in 5 heroic dungeons now and then will have no use at all for cloudburst totem. The healing stream is more useful as a filler heal so I can dps more whilst picking my nose.
I do wish that the mistweaver can have a viable build where you do not have to hit rising sun kick. Some fights it just stinks to be in melee and it would be nice to have the choice. I love the melee style when the fight allows for it.
I want Holy Paladin to get back the AoE builder we had in Cata. I know they use glimmer as a means of giving you some of that, but when I know I have to aoe big damage, it doesn't feel great to do single target heals or a crusader strike.
As for priest, I do like Power Infusion. You get in a pug, dps better be nice to me or they won't get PI. If you stand in all the shit, you won't get PI. I like having that power. lol After all, as a healer I decide who lives and who dies. I love holy priest for the control you have. Much like chain heal, it's pretty powerful to have a spamable aoe heal if you end up in a crazy situation. And the most powerful aspect of a holy priest is that you can go disc if you want to. You can swap between the specs as you see fit (hoping stat priority is mostly the same). I would change specs depending on the fights. That's why I love the healing priest. It's always a let down when a new expansion hits cos i find shadow the most painful in world content. *shudder*
I do remember idiots throwing disrespect at me when i was holy and not disc (cos they see disc in the competitions). My response was always, "I will only play disc when I am playing with people who know what they are doing." I did always hate Schism, I am not gonna lie. Glad it will be a mind blast buff instead. It's just too much. People want a challenge cos it makes them feel good about themselves, but there is a limit to what you can do with all that perfect rotation when you meet unexpected damage. Unexpected damage, or new fights, I typically go holy for that.

Thanks for this video. Think I'm going disc priest, been messing around on one leveling and did a few dungeons, haven't tried a key on it yet but I'm determined to learn it. Been having an absolute blast. If I'm too shit at it I can just go holy & I like that spec too but I've played holy In S1 and did ok, 20s are absolute limit tho. My thoughts are if some streamers can do it then so can I ☺️
You can use a macros for tyrs and hod, makes it one button.

I am a main shamen and have to say that i like the Tier set of Shamen realy much in s3 as it its. This is becous i liekt the Necro healing in Shadowlands and the Tier set feels like the only thing in which i can heal like i wannt to play shamen. I am realy glad for the tier set with this roataion.

I love my Pres Evoker with a lot of Melee (Pallys, Warrior, Feral druid, rogues...) that is THE easiest group to heal, a group with all ranged (especially scattered) really stinks.
I still can't decide between disc or mist.

Love cloud burst. I’m hesitant to play resto next season you hit the nail on the head with tier. I have played resto shaman since tbc and the tier sets work best when they support the play style. I got riptided out in shadow lands then dropped primordial wave for chain harvest I don’t want to be forced to have to focus on riptide in 10.2 I’m hoping like you said there are more viable builds.
I am still very torn about what to play, I love shaman class fantasy, animations and all, but it gets so much less fun to play it. Also dps offspec is a big factor for me, as we usually had more healers than spots, so my guild required healers to have a dps spec prepared. I just hope ele is ok (both performance- and feel-wise).

What about interupts like chastise or scream on hpriest?
There are only 3 healers I haven't played, preservation, discipline, and holy paladin. They're somewhat intimidating to me and foreign. I really liked the old disc healing, but after playing the mistweaver and its a dps melee healer, I kind of want to try disc healing.
Prevoker is the most fun I’ve ever had in this game
I love the utility and most of the playstyle (including the damage) for Rsham, but I truly hate CBT and PWave.
What about monks getting summons for utility?
Doesn’t the atomic recalibrator only let you change your appearance for 1 hour every 12 hours ?

In S2, I played as an Enhancement shaman with a Resto off-spec. Because of that, I had way too much of Haste rating when I played Resto. With the Living Stream talent, it was much more effective to play with HS totem.
During Tyrannical weeks it became even more relevant, since the mana management during the boss fights was quite a challenge.
I switched to mistweaver this week to heal and forgot to change my gear around for the first 3 dungeons. 2% haste with boots on! I was mostly attacking anyway so I didn't really notice.
thats why you should try get a second gear set for resto. thats what im doing for my shaman rn
I was gunna play Mist but somehow my group found another one to recruit so it's disc priest for me.

There's so much stuff to track with all healers, it's honestly overwhelming for me. I'm not that great, but I love doing challenging content. I just can't keep up with it all on top of increasingly difficult and additional mechanics. Wish they would let me just heal lol
I don't like Cloudburst at all, specifically in Mythic+. A lot of other healing specs just have a handful of generally useful tools. Resto shaman has a bunch of random crap you have to use at the right time (or it's useless/bad), and I don't want to add another one.
I'm not a fan of cloudburst personally, only because I am a scrub 😂
My view on it is, if I am using it how people recommend when you're new to it where it's "oh just use it on cooldown" and sometimes it'll be useful and help sometimes it wont then I might as well just be using healing stream totem where I know these ticks are going to be actively healing. Where as with CB totem, I might've topped up already and I've not got as much out of CB totem.
I've worded this badly but you get my point.
Fistweaving is just a playstyle beside being the usual ranged mistweaving healer. As I read the ranged style also will get lots of buffs, definitely more buffs than nerfs, so if you dont like being melee healer you have a strong another choice. That is for sure the M+ teams and the very competitive progress raids want a melee healer because its damage, but if you dont care about those mistweaving is incredibly fun and effective and far calmer, less stressful activity than fistweaving. As a ranged mistweaver I also can heal next to the boss so the melees and tanks can get my buffs most of the time. Beside this I welcome the fistweaving buffs and I will try that dark side of the spec. For me the main problem is that as a fistweaver you have to target the boss/mobs and the party/raid members too. I think because of this the fistweaving spec/style one of the most advanced, most demanding playstyle in the whole WoW. The devs should give some damage to the ranged style too, like a debuff which transfer a low portion of the heal to the enemies or at least the enemies near to a healed ally, like a poisoned mist or something.
Priest has had mass dispel since TBC? 1 season it’s an issue because of the dungeons and it gets absolutely nerfed.
If they gave mw monk range, then it's no longer a melee healer, no? Like, if you're no longer needing to be in melee, then you're not melee.

Going to keep playing my HPaly but I've been gearing up my Resto Druid in anticipation for this. I already get better HPS with the RDruid but these 10.2 changes make it look like the healer I want the most of all you've outlined here. Bit of a switch of mains in 10.2 for me I think
Once you go Holy paladin, the other heals feel meh. I love healing on him. Its like playing melee, support and a healer at the same time.
True but sadly right now they force us to play some casting flash of light spams which is totally no no...If I wanted to play "holy" healer with casting spells i would go play holy priest, please blizz dont make 2 specs the same lol. Hpal all about insta casts and melee hpower generation

Give Resto shamans skyfury totem for a raid buff and fix their mana problems and as icing on the cake make chain harvest a talent as its my favorite spell this game has ever had
What annoys me about shammy is that they must have known the community's positive response to the chain heal build in season 1, then in typical blizzard fashion, they responded by completely changing the build and forcing a healing rain/riptide tidewaters build, now just a pure riptide build... kinda popega

i pick a main based off of if i like the other specs for that class. i love resto druid, but i had to change main because i dont really like other druid specs. boomie is fine, but i hate ramp up dmg in lower keys, i like bursty classes like ret or enhance.
i would play MW monk but i dont really like WW, BM is fun tho.
priest, i love shadow, but also hate doing older content with them, they are not very fast class, and i miss the old disc priest, before legion
i do like evoker, but aug ruined the class for me, so if i do end up playing dps for other stuff, just annoying i have to play aug or im trolling
so my choice is i end up with Shaman, cuz i love Enhance, Ele and Resto, but i do wish resto get a very big rework, but still keeps its class identity. rn they feel a bit, meh, nothing interesting to their kit, just same old stuff while pretty much every other healer have gotten some new cool stuff or reworks. even disc got another rework recently and shaman is still the same. i wish they would give ele/resto some utility totem that buffs the raid in any way shape or form, like either defensive buffs (like aug or paladins) or dmg buffs or both
For me its between the same classes as always, druid, shaman, priest… by the way, cloudburst is good, but it doesnt define the playstyle for me
