Wow I'm super jealous of you, that bike very attractive, not sure if you know about this but in some countries like Australia and New Zealand we have restrictions on new riders and sucks because you can't ride a fast bike for obvious reasons and all the other approved motorcycles aren't as aggresive looking as the super sports, but imagine having an R3 like yours as a new rider, a big rear tire like that giving off the impression of a big bike and not to mention that tail, all the R6's, CBR600's, and R1's have that aggresive tail design, you would easily fool anyone to thinking it's a big bike
I love the look.. but the weight of rotational mass slows the bikes response and the turn transitions is slower. But it looks cool doing it.,,, cool looking bike. just not a track bike. Nice work

I would message him from the start and finalize all the details first. Shipping is very important and if you make the decision to do regular shipping it could take months. I suggest express shipping with tracking and this way you will get a set date. I made the same mistake once and decided to have the rest of my orders express shipped after the long wait. Was thinking of doing this but everyone tells me it makes the bike sluggish and that it’s better to just stick with stock tire. How did it change the bikes handling for you? It does look a lot nicer with the 180 tire on there.

I want to make a quick note that I did make a minor modification to get the wheel bearings or the rear sprocket in. I just had to cut a tiny bit into the housing and it went right in. Hey man. I got the same rims from r-mod. I took this rim and 180 rear tire to a tire shop. They said the rim bearings wouldn't fit on my r3 2015. Any suggestions advice! Thank you.

I took a small sharp knife and you can even slowly cut out a little bit inside that allows you to fit the bearing right in It was simple and I thought the same thing when I bought mine. I show in my other videos a full range of tires that fit on stock. 160-60-17 is the largest you can go on stock. That’s why I purchased a larger rim. I went from stock 4.5 rim to a 5.5 rim.
It means that the to of the tire will balloon out on top and the bottom where the tire is mounted to the rim will be small and thin. The tip will actually warp out making it look like a mushroom.
@@chukob5 I’m saying the maxxxxxx is 160-60 tire for stock rim. If you want a bigger size tire just do what I did. Get the larger rim. It will solve the problem.

The max you can go on a stock rim is 160 - 60. Otherwise it will mushroom. Meaning it will literally look like it does not fit and I don’t think anyone will mount it. The stock rim is too narrow. Just buy a bigger rim and then you can put a larger tire on. Hope this helps
